We stayed 6 nights in a room with a balcony. Although the balcony furniture had been removed it was quite easy to put a chair outside. Only drawback are the mosquitos.
Room spacious and clean, staff friendly and internet fast.
The breakfast was the type you point and they put it on the plate (covid proof) and as expected the variety was somewhat limited, but staff fine. The restaurant is open with a limited menu and the food was enjoyable and reasonably priced.
There are a few large supermarkets within a few minutes walk which is ideal for shopping. The tram that connects the airport to the city center has a stop in the vicinty of the hotel. Just 10 minutes either way, so one did not miss staying downtown.
Would certainly stay here again.
Hello everybody. We had the chance to stay at Hilton Garden Inn Novoli Firenze for 4 nights during our city-break.The hotel is situated only 6 tram stations from the city center-Alamani-Santa Maria Novella,so it has an ideal position. Our room was at the 2-nd floor, with the street view, street that it is very circulated during the early mornings,so ask for a garden view if you have problem with the sleep. The check-in was fast, and the Front-Desk agents were polite, smiling every time when they saw us,offering their help.Because I am working in the Housekeeping,I have my eyes "formed",and I can only say that starting with the first day during the entire stay, the maids were done a very good job for us,cleaning very properly the room and the bathroom, beside the fact that the room/bathroom are a little too "old",so,great job, ladies, keep it like this forward.
The only minus that I observed during the stay is going to the breakfast.Itself and team too.I am traveling for almost 10 years around Europe, always my stays are in Hilton, but unfortunatly this was one of the poorest breakfast choises that I saw.Every morning the same tipes of food, the juices-3 tipes-had very low quality, the bacon was almost cold every morning, but the pastryes were delicious.Unfortunatly, the breakfast team itself was a disappointment. No one had a smile on their faces,no one had asked not even once if we need fresh coffee,we saw only the machine in the corner,so we thought that was the only choise,on the third day we saw at another table that the waiter had brought fresh coffee to someone. They did not ask not even once if we need anything,if the breakfast was ok,we were the ones who thanked them when we left after the breakfast. So,I guess that atitudine needs a very high improve. And since the breakfast it is until 10am,it will be great that during that time if they are focusing on the guests, and not on some conference next to the breakfast area,by moving chairs, taking cart with juices there,in that way, they are disturbing those ones who are trying to enjoy quietly the breakfast-it was on the second day of our staying.
But we had a nice staying at this hotel, the Florence is a gorgeous city, where at every corner you can find a real "treasure",architectual or not.
I spent 3 nights here- super clean hotel, great location, friendly and helpful staff.
One of my best stays ever, excellent service in each department (especially reception and housekeeping).
Special thanks to SILVIA from front desk, the best hospitality I've ever seen.
