We stayed here as part of a holiday booked through IcelandAir. Very basic hotel, small rooms but all you need and great value for a short visit to Reykjavik. Comfortable beds, good heating, nice shower, good basic breakfast included. No hairdryer(bring your own) and no kettle (can pay a fee for one if you want). Shop inside hotel next to reception sells bus tickets,man very helpful with this, bus stop to city centre over the road from hotel. Also walkable to city centre once you know the route, about 15 minutes (just hug the shoreline) nice views of mountains, city and ocean. Would return here for affordable and fairly central accomodation.
Greeted by a lovely woman at reception who signed us in quickly and efficiently. As we walked in to getting to the hotel room it probably took 10 minutes in total. We found out we were on the fifth floor so we just turned around back to the lift, as the lift is just as you come in so you can come in and out of the hotel really quickly. The room was cozy with just the bare essentials but for the price that’s exactly what you expect but the styling of the room was modern and the shower was great. There’s also hotel parking and several corner shops, restaurants and fuel all within 10 minutes and to leave the hotel to the airport only took about 50 minutes.
It is small yes but the name implies that already. For this budget a very neat and tidy room with own bathroom. Even when you leave at 4 to 6 AM there is a small breakfast present. Staff is helpfull and speaks English. Gas station, pizzeria, monument and city centre very near. No complaining at all.
