My husband and I recently had a very nice stay with friends at the Apotek. Very comfortable, friendly and professionally run boutique hotel. Restaurant is excellent with a wide selection of good wines. Highly recommend.
We stayed at this hotel while in Reykjavik. Staff are pleasant, helpful and very accommodating. Our flight came in very early in the morning. We checked in expecting to have our luggage stored since it was only 7:30am. The front desk staff searched for a ready/available room. He found one and gave us our keys. This made a huge difference starting our holiday! We were able to rest a bit after a long flight and enjoyed walking around the city the rest of the day.
Our room was clean and well maintained. Linens and towels were fresh and clean. Complete amenities with bathrobes and slippers. There is an in room safe. Wifi connection was strong and stable. Breakfast was sumptuous. Check in/out process was quick and easy. The property is within walking distance to shops, restaurants and attractions. A fantastic hotel in a great location. Highly recommend this place.
The rooms were very comfortable, and well appointed. There are other good hotels in the area, but this one was certainly worth paying that little extra for. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Easy walk to everything you need in Reykjavik.
