The hotel and its grounds are every bit as beautiful as they look from photos. It is very quiet and relaxing. We had a fantastic time, had some really wonderful service and would definitely recommend the hotel. As well as the beauty of the place, the food in particular was fantastic.
In Covid times they have a breakfast where they bring a tray of continental items to the table including croissants, pastries and rolls, fruit, cheeses, meats, muesli, cake, yoghurt and other little pots of mousses etc. Unlimited coffee and juice served on request. In addition you can order unlimited items from the a la carte menu including salmon bruschetta, eggs, omelette, sausages/beans, waffles, pancakes. They are very flexible about mixing and matching items.
At dinner there is a set menu each day with five courses. Usually three starters including a soup and a salad and one other such as moussaka. There is a choice of three mains (usually meat, fish, veggie) and a choice of fruit or another pudding. It is 38E pp and the Greek night in particular was excellent.
In the pool restaurant during the day there are a couple of menus to choose from including snacks, sushi and full lunch menu. Most things on these menus are very generous servings and really delicious. Examples include club sandwich (E19), chicken souvalaki (E18), starter portion of meatballs (12E - best from the lunchtime menu).
In the evenings the pool restaurant offers an a la carte menu which is again fantastic quality. The Tuna tartare was really good (E20) and generous enough to be a main course rather than a starter. The fresh fish to choose from the cabinet often included red snapper and sea bream. It was filleted at the table very impressively and very well done (avg price E45).
The evening option we absolutely loved was the private dinner from the Melia restaurant, which offers a set nine course menu. The food from this menu was absolutely exceptional, genuinely world class. We cannot praise it enough. We paid an extra E80 to have this served privately in the yoga station looking over the sea with butler service and it made for a truly special night.
On a couple of occasions we ate outside the hotel. We particularly liked Ladofanaro. The restaurants in Tragaki are a good walk from the hotel including a couple of steep hills and uneven/badly lit roads so it is generally easier to stay in the hotel unless getting a taxi further afield.
The pictures simply do not do this hotel, the views and sunsets justice. Not to mention the exceptional five course dinner included in the half board package. However, the stand out feature of this hotel (and I can assure you, I have visited many) is the staff - Peter the water sports guru, Alexandros and Konstantina at the beach bar, Georgos and Artemis at the restaurant and Vassolina and Panos at reception. I have not met a more friendly and welcoming bunch and for the first time, this is what I will be missing most when I return home. If it wasn’t for my desire to visit and experience different countries I would come back every year. Without hesitation, I have recommended this hotel to friends looking for a last minute getaway and would encourage you to do the same. I promise, you won’t regret it.

I was at lesante last july and it's a fantastic hotel. The service was excellent and I think they cleaned the room 4 times per day. I do think the lunchmenu was a bit boring compared to the dinner. That was not a big issue because there's plenty of restaurants just next to the hotel. One of the best stays in my life.
