We stayed 6 nights at this hotel and one night in the sister hotel De Sol. We received an upgrade to a superior room and the view was stunning. The room was modern and immaculate with a cave shower and the complex itself was so clean and safe during Covid.
All the staff were so helpful and made us feel at home. The two ladies on reception were friendly and always wanting to help. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice and the waiting staff were so pleasant and helpful.
There is a shuttle bus throughout the day into the main town which was great. The hotel is on the cliff so would not suit people with walking difficulties as there are a good few stairs on the grounds.
We walked in to town most days which took 20 mins but I would not recommend walking back in the dark due to the uneven pavement and lack of street lighting but to get the hotel bus back to be safe.
The view of the volcano with the sunset is exceptional.
The staff and management really went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and we appreciate everything they did.
I recommend this hotel for anyone staying on the island. It’s a charming, boutique hotel with superb staff and views that are amazing.
Thank you to everyone that made our stay so enjoyable.
We stayed 3 nights at the Volcano View hotel and it was excellent. The view is stunning and the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and service. An excellent choice near Fira.
To celebrate our wedding we could not have chosen a better location and hotel - excellent service with very friendly staff who were keen to help. Upgraded to a suite, the room was quiet and well equipped with fantastic views overlooking the caldera. However, they are many steps to negotiate but they kept us fit!
