This town hotel is very nicely situated a few minutes' walk from the town centre of Fira and offers its guests wonderful views to the Aegean Sea. The closest beach lies around 6 km from the hotel. Guests may rent a car or take the public transport to visit most historic sites of touristic interest on Santorini. This is a wonderful place to relax after a long day exploring the island.

My wife and I visited The Majestic Hotel with our two children who both were under the age of 10 at the time of our visit and we had an incredible overall experience. The hotel is relatively close to the ferry port, maybe 20 minutes. The hotel’s service was phenomenal! We were greeted at the reception desk by the hotel's staff and welcomed warmly. The room was perfect for a family of four as we had plenty of space to spread out. The unique layout of the room provided separate areas for my wife and I and the kids. The food was great and room service was easy to use and delivered quickly. The pools were beautiful, the small playground was just the right size to provide the kids with a space of their own (not too much variety), and the gym was good for a simple workout (not a lot of equipment). The hotel's location was ideal for a quick walk to the town, even with two young kids.
I have stayed at The Majestic Hotel 3 times. Christiana and the reception staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. We used their facilities in June this year and were greeted as long lost friends with smiles and hugs.
Thank you for making special memories for me, my son and my late friend ❤️
Santorini has become popular Greek island over last few years especially for cruise liners. We chose to come here towards the end of season in fact I understand it was closing at end if October. As a result we found the hotel quiet apart from the obligatory Chinese and a few Americans. However it did enable us to have a very relaxed, peaceful week break. The hotel cannot be faulted although it is not 5 for me at best 4. The hotel is modern and clean and has magnificent views of both sides of the island especially where the ships come in. Breakfast was acceptable although standard and little alternatives each day. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had one meal at night in the restaurant, we were the only ones there but food not too expensive. As the hotel is a distance away from Fira a suggestion is to offer transport into town at set times in the day. Although the distance into town was not far, for older people in the heat and on the road was restricting. Taxi cost was 7 euro. Room was clean but we did experience mosquitos and the bathroom not high quality. Overall I would recommend the hotel and come again
