Casa Cook Kolymbia

An island of contrasts, Rhodes is the perfect marriage of ancient and modern culture. Set against the backdrop of Tsambika Mountain, Casa Cook Rhodes offers a hideaway for modern travellers. This adults-only boutique hotel is a modern retreat featuring minimalist design featuring with wood and natural colours in keeping with the surrounding landscape of olive groves and rocky hills. If you're looking for a stylishly bohemian escape in a stunning setting, Casa Cook Rhodes is your destination. Morning or evening, the Kitchen Club serves as the hotel's heart. Here, the bar, restaurant and main pool area merge seamlessly and form the perfect backdrop for guests to relax, socialise or even celebrate over perfectly crafted drinks and plates of Greek mezze while enjoying the amazing beats from the hotel's resident DJ. For a change of scenery, Kolymbia and Kolymbia Beach are within easy walking distance. Tsambika Beach with its broad stretch of sand in a secluded location is a short drive from the resort. Further afield is Rhodes Town. This UNESCO World Heritage site offers a fascinating experience steeped in medieval history and the chance to explore local culture. An active holiday or a relaxing getaway? The choice is yours. Energetic guests can enjoy sailing or hike in the nearby hills to drink in spectacular views of the coastline. Guests longing for inner harmony can take part in group or private open-air yoga classes at the yoga shala. Whatever you prefer, this ticks all the boxes for a sublime holiday.

Casa Cook Rhodes sits 1.5km from the centre of the small resort of Kolymbia. You'll find the sand and pebble Kolymbia Beach 700m away. Tsambika Beach is 6km to the south and is known for its broad stretch of sand and secluded location. A handful of small bars and restaurants offering Greek cuisine, snacks and drinks line the shore. Tsambika's isolation makes it a popular spot for regular parties hosted by some of the beach bars. You can also drive to Rhodes Town, which is 25km away from the hotel. It's a UNESCO World Heritage site with medieval history to explore.

The open-design restaurant provides a choice of a buffet or à la carte breakfast, while lunch and dinner are offered à la carte. The restaurant serves both local and international cuisine, with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients that are locally sourced where possible. Room service is available for food and drinks.

Casa Cook Rhodes offers beach cruiser hire for exploring, and staff can recommend popular trips or off-the-beaten-track spots. The hotel also hosts regular evening events. The hotel also offers yoga sessions at extra charge.

The main pool area, together with restaurant and bar, is what we like to call our ""happiness hub"". Here you can relax, enjoy a cool drink and socialize while listening to chill beats. If you prefer some quality time for yourself, your private poolside terrace invites to linger in privacy. The sandy/pebble beach of Kolymbia is just 700m from the hotel. Kolymbia beach has coarse sand and pebbles. The popular sandy Tsambika Beach is 6 km away.

The rooms at Casa Cook Rhodes all have individually controlled air conditioning, safes and TV with satellite channels. They also have Wi-Fi access.

Fantastic hotel with fab people
Nov 2020 |

We spent a fabulous week here in October. The setting is stunning, with pristine modern accommodation set against bright blue skies, with the mountains & sea as a backdrop. The restaurant, bar, pool & facilities are all first rate, yet special mention should be made about the staff. To the last man & woman, everyone was super friendly & professional & more than happy to help out - particularly impressive when one considers the difficult environment we currently endure. We can't wait to go back.

We visited on 28th October for 4 nights. We booked Premium Veranda room with Shared Pool. Upon arrival we were greeted with a friendly face and taken to our room. We were surprised to be upgraded to their best room.

Cleanliness was 5/5. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return next Summer.
