The children may wish to visit the nearby aquarium; this isn’t just a tourist attraction, it was built as a research facility and they care for injured creatures before they are released back into the sea. Rodini Park is also in the area, which dates back to Roman times and claims to be the first landscaped park in the world. With paths arranged around a stream, it’s the ideal place to escape the heat, where you will be joined by feathery friends including peacocks.
