Apollo Blue

I can't recommend this place highly enough. It's spotlessly clean throughout and really well maintained. The complex is beautiful and there are so many different areas to enjoy a drink or snack, or just relax with a pretty view. We hadn't expected a full entertainment programme through the day and evening, so it was a huge surprise to be able to do morning stretch, aqua zumba at midday, pilates, darts or table tennis mid afternoon and live music in the evening. The hotel staff really made it for us, though. So cheerful, friendly and kind. Everythinv was so well organised to be Covid compliant, so you felt safe without it being overbearing. Thats not an easy task especially at mealtimes, and the staff really work their socks off, serving everyone with a smile, nothing seemed too much trouble. The food was lovely and a really good choice choice. The drinks selection was great too, sometimes a bit strong - you certainly didn't need more than a 2 or 3 cocktails each evening. The resort lies on a sandy beach with a huge lawn in front. Its ideally placed, just 15 mins from the best snorkelling on Rhodes at Antony Quinn Bay, 25 mins from Rhodes Town, 45 from Lindos (We spent the day there - the hotel gave us a lovely packed lunchbox), and 25 from the stunning views at the cross in Filerimos. It's just 5 mins walk from Faliraki centre too. Our room was 157, ground floor overlooking the pool and ocean beyond. It was a great size, big bathroom with separate Jacuzzi bath and shower. We were AI and often popped across to the adjoining sister hotel for the delicious crepes, souvlaki and wood fired pizzas. The traditional Yamas! Greek night was superb, with all the authentic meze dishes served to your table and live Greek music from a brilliant 5 piece Greek band. We also enjoyed an a la carte meal in Taverna Blue which we selected from the menu a few hours before. It's clear how much work goes into making this place as good at it is because everything is superb. I couldn't fault a single thing.

Brilliant week at this splendid hotel. Location, staff, food all excellent. Friendliest staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. All well versed in the Covid regulations. Lovely 1st floor room overlooking the pool and sea. Evening entertainment was a bonus. Can't wait to return next year..

This is a lovely hotel. Its contemporary design and low level building blends into the location. We went in Oct 2020 - 7 nights. Cannot fault any of the staff. Hard working and always helpful and cheerful. Food was varied and due to covid is served to you at the servery by staff. We were all inclusive so had snacks.....freshly made pizzas to order, kebabs and freshly made crepes or waffles. Soft Ice cream in waffle cones too - we had everything and they didnt disappoint! Alcoholic drinks as part of package were fine as well as plenty of mocktails!

The pool was really quiet in a good way, possibly because of time we went but also suspect due to covid - hotel might be limiting guests. approx 95% of the guests were German. Didnt bother us, but if you want to be with English, this might not be the hotel for you - could be time of year we went.
