If you're a nature lover, you can take a short walk from the hotel to the Aliki salt lake. This lagoon is home to a variety of animals, including flamingos and turtles. To get a taste of the island's history, you can pay a visit to Asklepeion, an ancient site within driving distance of the hotel that's said to be the home of the first hospital, founded by Hippocrates. The hotel is also within driving distance of the island's main centre, Kos Town. Here, you can visit Eleftherias Square and enjoy the range of places to eat and drink, alongside market stalls and shops. There are also plenty of lively bars and nightclubs where you can experience the nightlife that the island is renowned for.
You can enjoy your meals at the hotel's main buffet restaurant, which offers a range of international dishes. There is also a Greek theme night throughout the week. Sandwiches, cookies, cake, ice cream and pastries are available in the beach bar and pool bar. Caravia Beach has four bars, three of which are open until late.
The hotel is family friendly and provides kids' entertainment. There are also sports activities on offer, including tennis, beach volleyball and basketball.
