Diamond Deluxe

Diamond Deluxe Hotel & Spa is on the north-east coast of the Greek island of Kos. It's steps from the sandy Lambi beach, on a promenade that offers easy access to the inner city area of Lambi. The hotel has a mini market so you can pick up daily essentials, and there are also two restaurants and three bars. When you need to unwind, you can head to the sauna to enjoy massage therapy and take advantage of the beauty and wellness treatments available, which include manicures and pedicures. If you want to stay active, you can work out in the hotel's gym or take part in one of the fitness classes. There's also a tennis court with tennis equipment for hire, as well as the opportunity to play basket ball and try beach volleyball down on the sand. Outside, there's a garden where you can sunbathe, and a pool area with a swimming pool and a separate kids' pool. Indoors there's another heated pool and a spa with a whirlpool. If you don't want to get up from your spot by the pool or the sea, there's a pool waiter service and a beach waiter service. The hotel is close to nature attractions including the Plaka Forest and the Natural Park of Zia, as well as Kos Old Town

Diamond Deluxe Hotel & Spa is a 50m walk from Lambi beach, which is 1km long, as well as flat and sandy. The promenade is a favourite with cyclists and skaters, as well as those looking for a quiet place to relax by the sea. It's 3km from the hotel to the centre of Kos Town, where you can see historic sights including a castle, as well as visiting popular beaches, browsing the shops, and calling into tavernas and restaurants for a drink or a meal. It's also the main centre for nightlife, with plenty of bars and clubs to explore.

Diamond Deluxe Hotel & Spa has three bars, including a pool bar and a beach bar for drinks while you're sunbathing. There are also two restaurants. The buffet restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, while the adults-only a la carte restaurant only serves dinner.

In the evenings you can watch live entertainment five times a week, which often includes a DJ as well as jazz musicians.

All rooms have individually controlled air conditioning and central heating, as well as a private balcony or terrace, tiled floors, and a fridge.

Beautiful Hotel with Excellent Staff
Aug 2020 |

Absolutely lovely place on the beautiful island of Kos. The building and grounds were so lovely. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and the food was first class. I would definitely visit Diamond Deluxe again - perfect holiday.

perfect relaxing holiday in stylish surroundings

our second holiday in this stylish and welcoming hotel. Perfectly situated away from the bustle of Kos town but within easy reach should you need to go. we rented bikes again and had great fun safely exploring the coastline on the well signposted cycle routes.

all the staff are very friendly and Nectaria was amazing in helping us to get the room we wanted, would recommend a swim up terrace but all the rooms look well appointed and the arctitectural design is very pleasing.

Fabulous food for all meals and the breakfast selection is stunning. No need to eat out as every evening is individually themed. Great chilled evening entertainment in the chic bar area and good selection of drinks.

we will be back

Great location, fantastic food and amazing staff.
Nov 2019 |

Like most people I read reviews before booking holidays and being English means I take most interest in the bad ones. The ' bad' reviews for Diamond Deluxe included comments about the cost of bottled water (given as 4 euros but we paid 2) and the fact that the private beach was across a busy road. I accept that October may not be the tourist season but 6 cars a minute would not seem to qualify as 'busy'.

The only issue we had with the Diamond Deluxe was that it was so good we did not really want to go out an explore the area. The room, staff and food were all brilliant. When we did go into Kos town (bus 2 euros, taxi 10 but only 6 kilometres away so why not hire a bike, 5 euros a day) it was to sample the restaurants and visit the roman ruins. Well worth a visit but we did still scurry back to the hotel for a nightcap.

So; if good food, attentive and friendly staff and fantastic facilities are not what you are looking for best head somewhere else as this is not the hotel for you.
