Returned to Maritsa studios after staying there in 2017 and was so pleased I did!! Not only is it ideally situated but is clean, comfortable and now has the added benefit of optional air con!! Maritsa is a lovely friendly lady who takes care of all your needs and let myself and my 2 daughters have the use of our room on our day of departure as we had a late evening flight. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back!!
We were supposed to stay at the Stenna apartments but on the night of arrival we were told that there was no rooms .We got took to an apartment complex the other end of town in a dirty old car with our suitcase dumped in the back as the boot was full of crap.We arrived at the Maritsa studios @20 minutes later.we said our hellos and the first thing was there's a €5 charge for tax and €40 euros for air con .But despite this our room was basic and clean .The owner tried to make us as welcome as possible but Stenna started the bad ball rolling .Our second morning was disturbed by barking dog,fighting cats and the open cesspits from the new hotel over the road. The Maritsa is lovely if you like a quieter area because it's on the edge of town with a 25 minute walk to the harbour.And Jumbo Tours never got in touch it was all done through Love holidays(Chloe)and we were offered a measly £40.0 But I will say Maritsa is a lovely basic stay and The owner works hard to keep it clean only downfall the towels could have done being changed more often and possibly mosquito nets installed over beds or doors ...Oh and the dodgy cooker lol ....
As always a chilled stay, a basic but very clean apartment
Nothing is too much trouble for Maritsa you just have to ask
Love sitting in the garden watching the sun set with a cool long drink
Upstairs rooms have the best views over the bay but we like ground floor so I can move around the garden either chasing the sun or hiding from it
It a fair walk to the centre but only 2 minutes to the beach
Supermarket 2 minutes down the road and 5 minutes to a bar and good restaurants
