To start off I’ll say that we paid £465 each for 2 of us all inclusive for a week so I’ll base my review based on on that low price.
I’ll also add that if you have no patience & haven’t got the ability to queue then don’t go on holiday anywhere until COVID is a thing of the past or you’ll just annoy everyone that does have patience & understands that we’re currently in a different world..
First of all the queue to check in can be long & slow. You’ll also have to pay a tourist tax so be prepared. It tells you this fact in the booking info but everyone in front of us hadn’t read this and acted like they were being robbed by the hotel... The room was a sea view, the bedroom room was ok, there was a shower room that was tiny, had no door on the shower & within a couple of minutes you had suds coming up through the grid on the floor. No big issue really. Our room was just off the path to the beach. It was 2 minutes walk the the restaurant one way & 2 minutes to the beach. The beach bar served great burgers & George on the drinks bar was very friendly. The beach itself wasn’t the best full of stones & fag ends. The beds were ok & they were easy to get with a parasol. Getting in & out of the sea was tricky due to the rocks with sand bags over the top. The sea itself was really nice. The food in the restaurant was all served to you due to COVID & was some of the best I’ve had at this type of resort with the fruit especially being nice & fresh. It was missus birthday whilst we were there & they brought her a cake over which I thought was very nice of them. We only saw the entertainment one night & all the COVID regulations in the hotel made no sense when the animation team had holidaymakers taking part in games which involved lots of contact between the guests? Very strange.
Most of the staff were friendly & we had a good time although after 1 visit to the bar near the pool at night the drunken Brits swearing at the bar staff due to slow service put us off.. We are Brits btw!
Overall it was a nice break, would I go back? I doubt it until it was an absolute bargain like this time.
Enjoyed every moment of this holiday, the bar staff was so lovely, in fact, all the staff was!!! loved the food especially the Chinese & the snack bars, the only problem for us was the other holiday clients that didn't wear face masks, not forgetting the entertainment, we loved it!! Thank you Akti beach club!!
Stayed at Akti Bech in the last week of the season. Really can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived all the staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly cleaned. There’s something for everyone here, a busy pool with music and a number of other quieter pools
All the staff worked so hard and are a credit to the hotel, particularly Varna who made a real fuss of my grandson she was brilliant
I would definitely recommend Akti Beach and we’re already looking at booking again next year
