The port of Poros is ten kilometres from the hotel, and the airport is 35 kilometres away.

Excellent room facing the side road. Quiet location but close to the centre of the village and its activities. Dennis and Natalia are excellent hosts. Rooms cleaned and bedding/ towels changed twice during my stay and bins emptied daily. Sufficient equipment for a self catering holiday too.
Will definitely return.
Our party stayed at Dionysios studios for two weeks, end of September and the first week of October, occupying one ground floor studio and one on the first floor. First of all, the weather was excellent other than a couple of days affected by thunderstorms, heavy rain and high winds but even on those days, the sun eventually came out.
Now to the accommodation. The Dionysios is not high end luxury but that is reflected in the price. What it does provide, is comfortable rooms, maybe a bit on the small side but there’s everything you need. Towels and sheets are changed twice a week, bins emptied every day. If you haven’t been to Greece before, you may be surprised by the requirement to put toilet paper in the bin by the toilet. You’ll soon get used to it! Air-conditioning and a room safe are available to hire.
The location of the property is brilliant. It’s very quiet but only two hundred yards from the main street with its’ shops and tavernas and not much further to the beach.
The owner, Dennis, lives on the top floor of the main block and is always around somewhere. He seems a very quiet, unassuming man who will quite happily stop by for a chat and check that everything’s well.
All in all I couldn’t fault the holiday and would have no hesitation in returning to the Dionysios should I wish to return to Skala and Kefalonia again.
This was our first stay here after many years staying in Skala. After the good reviews we stayed for 2 weeks and was not disappointed. The rooms are very clean and are cleaned everyday, there is everything you would need for self catering. There is a kitchenette unit for making or cooking breakfasts. The shower is hand held but is not a problem. It’s around 10 minute walk up an incline to the apartments from the beach. Dennis the owner was lovely, always taking time out to say hello and have a chat. It’s a very nice quiet area of Skala if that is what you are wanting. We loved it so much we have booked again for next year!!!
