Greece Crete Rethymnon
720 reviews

Camari Garden Hotel Apartments is on the north coast of the Greek island of Crete. It's close to the coast and is in the countryside, surrounded by nature. From here, you can take a short drive to the city of Rethymnon or make a day trip to the island's capital, Heraklion. The hotel has high speed Wi-Fi throughout, and there's a mini market where you can pick up daily essentials during your stay. There's also a bar and a restaurant so you can get some of your meals and drinks without leaving the hotel. Outside, there's a sun terrace where you can relax and soak up the sunshine, as well as a pool area with two outdoor swimming pools for adults and two separate swimming pools for children. Rethymnon is the nearest town, and has lots of sandy beaches that gently slope into the sea making them safer for smaller children to paddle at the edges. You can explore the history of the area by visiting the fortress, historic harbour and the winding streets, or take a look at the underground caves or ancient tombs. There are plenty of modern attractions too, with shops, bars and clubs, as well as busy markets where you can pick up souvenirs.

Camari Garden is in a natural coastal area, and is a 6km drive from Rethymnon city centre. You can also visit Heraklion from this area, which is 90km away, for a day out. Here you can wander around the pedestrianised streets on foot, and see some of the popular public spaces like Liondaria with its four stone lions. For more culture and history, you can visit the Palace of Knossos and Heraklion Archaeological Museum. There are also shopping centres and markets to browse, as well as cafÈs and restaurants serving traditional local food.

Camari Garden has a bar and an ala carte restaurant with outdoor seating where you can eat breakfast each day. There are also lots of places to eat and drink within walking distance of the hotel. For a night in, you can pick up essentials at the mini market and prepare your own meal.

The hotel is close to visitor attractions including the Culture and Folklore Centre Atsipopoulo, as well as several churches and a nature park.

All the rooms have individually controlled air conditioning and a TV. You'll also have a dining area and a kitchenette area with electric hotplates and a fridge-freezer.
