Great place to visit. Super friendly and kind people. Food amazing, plentiful & cheap.
The guys who own the place are really nice and more laid back than a Jamaican gardener. Met a new friend from Finland who we will be staying in touch with and coming back next year at the same time to holiday together.
We booked a last minute trip despite Crete being took off corridor.
Couldn't have been happier with the apartments. Lovely and clean, well equipped and the family very accommodating and friendly 😀 😊
Near to a single/sand beach and not a far walk to supermarket, bars and other amenities.
A ten minute walk to the local village too.
Very peaceful 😌 🙏
We booked Pardalakis as a fairly last minute attempt to get away. The price we paid for a family of five wasn't much more than a week away in Cornwall(Covid-19 price crash) so we were abit unsure as to what to expect but we were far from disappointed! Not only was it well worth the money, it was so much more.
The apartments are clean and basic but provide you with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We stayed for a week and had a mid week towel and bedding change but the room appeared to be cleaned, with bins emptied, more frequently than this.
The apartments are close to a fairly busy road but that goes mostly unnoticed. The bus to Chania is just outside and there's a few bakeries, supermarkets and restaurants close by.
The pool scene is lovely and my 3 sons loved it. There is a small bar/restaurant area next to the pool that offers a fair variety of drinks, aswell as a lovely selection of meals and snacks. We only ate here twice as we like to experience different places and food but what we had was delicious and reasonably priced.
The family that own and run Pardalakis are lovely, as are their children. My 3 sons formed a lovely bond with Yianni and Babis! Corey, Jay and Oscar send their love!!
We hope to be able to return at some point but until then we'd like to say a big thankyou to you all. The boys will miss their diving competitions and Oscar will miss his little friend Yianni!
Also a quick hello to Paul and his wife - Thankyou for your wonderful recommendations.
If you're looking for a comfortable base to explore this beautiful Island then I'd definitely recommend Pardalakis.
