We stayed at this hotel as a late booking when we lost our holiday with Thomas Cook. In gereneral the hotel was lovely , food was really nice, always plenty of variety, well presented. The staff were always helpfull. This is the only hotel which we have found you cannot change your towels daily. Which for the hotel is a good thing, sometimes you dont need to change so often. We enyoyed our stay very much. The only thing that let it down was the room. Having arrived and unpacked which I always do in my bare feet, by the time I had finished my feet were black. I did ask at the reception if they could clean the floor, which they kindly did....surely this should have been done before we arrived.
I understand that the rooms has just been updated,if so this was a very poor thing.to me all they had done was a lick of paint and not a good one at that. Furniture was chipped, the dressing table and kettle was one side of the room and the sockets were on the opposite side of the room, in the end we had to put the stool with a tray on the top to use next to the socket. All in all I didnt think the rooms were up to a 4 standard, even my sister agreed when I sent her photos. Maybe I am used to a better 4 room. They didnt look as nice as shown in the picture onthe web site, and definitely not as good as a 4* Louis hotel in Cyprus.
An amazing family environment, a very clean hotel, perfect for relaxation with a huge variety of food to suit all tastes.
The staff was exceptional, especially Mrs. Effie in the dining area.
Would definitely recommend!!!
