Booked this at the last minute due to Tenerife being cancelled at the last minute because of travel restrictions.
The hotel was nice, although up a very steep hill, which isn't fun at 2am when walking back from the bars.
The experience itself was just okay. We arrived rather late, and was told we would not be getting a room clean unless requested the day before (but we could not request every day there and then) and 50 euros for the Aircon which is absolutely ridiculous.. after complaining about this, a gentleman came and gave us a key for the Aircon.
We went bed and breakfast, the food was exactly the same every day. Tasteless and no hash browns or decent sausages.
The staff were nice, and were constantly cleaning the public areas.
Plenty of sunbeds, although lots of hornets around the pool area.
Room was up a hill which was a bit of a nightmare.
Won't return as kavos really isn't for me. But was a nice break away from the stupid UK restrictions.
Just back from the olympion village, had a lovely time it's set in beautiful & well looked after grounds. ALL the staff are friendly, polite & very helpful the Greek night is fun good entertainment, the food was excellent well done mr chef 👏 plenty of sunbeds & was kept at a safe distance unless you were with friends which is understandable, the rooms are big & the views are beautiful. My only problem was with the amount of noise from the young ones coming back after a night out wow!!!! & then people wanting to play pool outside my room at 1/2am ( not pleased) but wouldn't let that stop me going again but something does need doing about the noise very late at night .
Quite frankly the worst hotel experience of my life. Rooms not cleaned or towels changed once in 7 days. Drains from under shower leaking and stinking bathroom out. Staff rude and grumpy. If they take a disliking to you they’ll be trying to kick you out from day one. Other rooms and people apparently absolutely fine being loud, playing music on speakers until all hours. My friends spoke to neighbouring balcony at 1 am and the overly aggressive security guard threatened to throw them out. He got laughed at as he was being ridiculous, then proceeded to start slamming on the bed and walls and threw them out and left them stranded with no hotel at 1.30 am - dangerous; but like they care once they have your money.
Another occasion we were told we were being too loud around the pool for having a laugh with a beer. If you want to do anything other than sit there in silence around the pool and go to bed at 10pm, don’t stay here. Plenty other hotels in the area will be far more welcoming and appreciative of your money.
Workers here were the only people we encountered in a weeks visit who weren’t friendly and attentive.
