We expected some amendments because of Covid but no bar, rubbish breakfast bag with a few small pastries, juice, granola bar and yogurt. Waiting time of hours to speak to reception and no room cleaning. We stayed for 12 nights and couldn’t get our linen changed or bathroom cleaned. The hotel next door offered full services despite Covid. This hotel offered nothing and after Disney closed at 8pm we had to go to the 3 star hotel next door in order to get a drink. This hotel was awful with half staff and charging full prices. Staff obviously under pressure so had no time for guests. Would never stay at this hotel group again and will warm everyone we know not to.
Was here for a wedding a few years back, nice clean hotel, family room was large and can easily accommodate 4 people we got upgraded to a family room (only 2 adults) Restaurant nice and big, buffet style breakfast was okay, bar was okay, a little expensive. A short bus transfer ride to Disneyland Paris.
I came here with my partner end of November 2019. This was my first time in France so I really wanted to have a magical experience so Disney-esk hotel it was for us.
On first look, I was impressed by the site. It was clean and presentable. Although we didn't drive, the car park was pretty huge. The entrance was wonderful. They had a big Christmas tree (it was close to Christmas time). A small Disney shop for all things Disney.
It wasn't majorly castle themed but enough to know that that was the particular theme of this hotel. The inside was clean as well.
The reception staff were really friendly and polite to us. They were helpful with our questions when we needed advice on where to go, taxis etc and spoke good English, which was comforting for us.
I liked our room. We were upgraded to a family room which was nice of them to do for us. The TV got good reception and there were loads of channels so you had a good pick of what to watch.
The bathroom was cute and clean. The shower was lovely.
I liked that you had the option of not having room service and if you chose not to have room service, you got a little treat, a lip balm, moisturizer etc and it was the L'Occitane brand which I know isn't cheap.
Our bed was broken. One of the slats were snapped but I wouldn't hold that against them. There wasn't anything drastically wrong and the bed and bedding were comfortable and clean.
Our view wasn't great but again, not a major issue.
The WIFI wasn't great in our room either which was disappointing so I mainly used my own internet.
Overall, our room was good.
I won't lie, the food wasn't amazing. The breakfast was nice enough in the mornings but I wouldn't bother going to the dinner. 24euro or so each for what is basically a cold spread. Maybe this is because there wasn't a lot of people at the hotel maybe but that shouldn't be the case. There were barely any hot food plates around and from what I could see, there was chicken fingers and maybe some chips for kiddies and that was it. I would recommend eating out rather than eating here.
Freezing cold. We were in there for 10 minutes and had to get out. The hot tub as well wasn't even that hot...
The bar was nice and we were given little plates of chips and olives which was lovely. The drinks were cold and the staff were very friendly. I wish we would have noticed this place sooner otherwise I would have spent a lot of my time in here.
We didn't go into the gym or the spa area so I cannot comment.
The shuttle service is great. Arriving every 20 minutes to take us to basically outside of Euro Disney or the train station which was great for us when we were going into France. Also, the staff at the train station speak good English. I know we shouldn't expect everyone to speak our language but it is quite comforting. NOTE: The bus gets super busy when Disney closed and cramped so I would recommend leaving a little earlier to avoid the rush home.
It does have a circus/castle feel to it. I think some people expect far too much for peanuts. Some expect to literally be staying inside a castle and be served their food on swords. It had a nice sense of the theme but it wasn't overpowering. I think children would the theme.
The shop was good. Offering Disneyland stuff so I snagged a jumper.
I did enjoy this hotel, it was a nice place to rest our head and the staff were nice. It's a little in the middle of nowhere but the shuttle makes it easier to get to main Disney or the station so that statement is redundant. I think the dinner menu needs to up it's game and the pool needs to be warmer, especially in the WINTER! 10C is not okay. I wouldn't pay full price that the hotel was expecting and if I did, I would be disappointed but because we got this for a few hundred each, I was impressed.
