Wouldn’t go bac
Dec 2020 |

The only good thing about this hotel is the swimming pool, the rooms are very basic, we also had to move rooms as the bedding had stains all over it and room was very dusty, I thought the staff were not very helpful.

Fantastic Hotel! We love Julian!
Sep 2020 |

Having previously stayed at the Disneyland Paris Hotels, I booked the Explorers not thinking it would be as good due to the price difference, but it was above and beyond what I ever expected it to be, The best hotel for children! We were greeted by the wonderful Julian on reception, who was a welcomed friendly person after a long drive! He was so kind to us from the minute we arrived and throughout our trip, my son Rylee looked out for him everyday and he was always so willing to help with whatever we needed. I had asked for a fridge and he bought one to the room in 5 minutes, it seemed that nothing was too much trouble for him! I honestly thought it wouldn’t be as good as a Disney hotel, but Julian made us feel so welcome and because of him i have cancelled 3 of our next visits to other hotels in the area, to stay at the Explorers again instead as it was so much fun and we had a really great time! We really loved the room, the pizza, the park and pool and we think it was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at, certainly the best staff on reception without a doubt and we’ve stayed at a lot of hotels! I’d love to thank Julian (or King Julian as Rylee called him) and all the staff on reception, the bar staff, the cleaners, the staff in the breakfast room & the lovely people in the pool reception who all did a great job, it was a really great stay and we look forward to staying again in November and for many years to come after that!

Great hotel for kids !
Sep 2020 |

We stayed with our 2 children, mainly for our 3 year old son. We did have an amazing time! We struggled to get him to Disney as all he wanted to do was go swimming and use all the slides. He loves the pirate ship to. He would spend over 3 hours in the pool and need to be dragged out!! The only problem was lack of lifeguards at the pool and older kids running wild and out of control. They would stand halfway down the slides stopping kids going down them. The slides end in the pool and some people swim right in front of them when kids are coming off.

He also loved the soft play.

Rooms were basic but clean. A double bed and bunk beds, the beds were surprisingly comfortable. Separate toilet and bathroom.

Breakfast was ok. Continental buffet and pay extra for hot food. It was just busy and full of people not waiting, picking products up with their hands and even some putting them back. Not a picture of food hygiene you want!

We would use the microwave in the restaurant to sterilise our babies bottles which some of the other guests seemed to take offence to !

Transfers to the park were ok. Some extremely busy and difficult with a buggy, especially a double one!!
