Staying at this hotel was an amazing idea. The staff is amazing, just like the hotel. The location is also the best. We had no problem at all. The breakfast was great! We even had the opportunity to check in a little early. We will definitely go back.
I had planned to stay at Hotel Vernet for around 10 days but this was cut short due to the Covid-19 problems and possible 'lockdown' - I left after 4 nights there. This is a small, cozy hotel in the centre of Paris about a 3 min walk from the Ave Champs-Elysees and 5mins from the Arc de Triomphe. From my arrival, the staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful - absolutely excellent reception and concierge services. Some more practical tips: The hotel is in a narrow, one-way street so arriving by taxi and unloading luggage could be an issue during busy times. There are some steps from the street to the reception area but the wonderful concierge M. Lionel and his staff are always available to help. The lift (elevator) is a bit of an antique and so space is fairly limited - again M. Lionel is very happy to help. The restaurant is accessible from reception and really should be visited - breakfast is a pretty simple affair but tasty, well presented and served by M Fernando and his team - you should really see the Gustave Eiffel designed glass ceiling in the restaurant area ! While you are there, try the 'Risotto Carnaroli' which has to be the best risotto dish I have ever tasted - courtesy of Head Chef Richard Robe and his team. All in all, I enjoyed every minute of my trip and was very sorry to leave early. I can't wait to go back to Paris and to Hotel Vernet.
