Club med serre chevalier review. I have a lot I want to say about my first club med experience, but let me sum it up.
Not worth the money!
10. Really slow wifi, can’t access internet
11. Only one pool available, no slides and it’s not that big. Difficult if you want to relax at the pool.
12. Really early checkout (10 am) with no flexibility even though check in as at 15h. Makes it difficult to sleep in, have a lazy breakfast, etc.
We passed one week at Club Med Serre-Chevalier and were really deceived by the tiny, old-fashioned rooms having red colored carpets worn out by years of winter ski-season hosts. Free activities are mostly biking and hiking, so if you're not a big fan of those, there's not much to do. The only positive point was the diverse and great food. We are not able to finish the 7-days stay and leaving earlier to escape the resort.
We were 10 of us, 4 kids from nearly 4 to 14, with my sister’s family, and our parents. We were very welcomed from the very first day until the end of the week by the animation team. Children enjoyed very much the mini club, and the high level of dedication they all had, Samy, Alice, Berenice, Valentin, were very dynamic and friendly.
Above all, I really want to have a special thanks to Jules, the swimming teacher, in 6 lessons he learnt my 4 years old boy to improve significantly his confidence and swimming technics . Jules adapted every minute his behavior and the type of exercices to my son mood, always smilling and so professionnal. I will never forget him and thank him enough, we have a swimming pool at home, and now I feel more relief thanks to Jules! I am highly recommending him for every children who wants to learn swimming.
