Great hotel with a luxuriously spacious Sandy beach. No rocks into the sea. Ideal for families with small children as the water is calm and shallow (similar to a Majorcaian beach), With the added beauty of the Red Sea coral and fish seconds away from the beach.
Now for the no so good bits......
Poor service in every food/beverage outlet. (As mentioned in various other reviews)
There are many staff members but always having to prompt for items. Just asking oil or vinaigrette for salads was always just a nightmare was alway hidden away. Just have it out. Order were more then 50% incorrect.
This is meant to be run by an Italian owner, Cannot believe basics like this are going wrong. To improve things.
Simple changes for example would be to add to the ‘al cart’ menus would be to place numbers next to the items (Arabic and Latin numerals) and place the Arabic wording under the various languages. Then both person would understand what’s been ordered.
Would be an amazing place if they just got the basics sorted.
Service 3/4 at a push.
It was a great pleasure to spend our holiday and meet New 2021 Year at amazing Fort Arabesque Hotel! It was wonderful and unforgettable time!
We liked everything: rooms, views, tasty food, beach, magnificent area, panoramic places and especially service.
From our first step we understood that here exists a real Master, who keeps everything in oder and with love.
The main “raisin” of the Hotel is the staff! Everybody was so attentive, kind, polite, smiling, hospitable and caring. We felt like we are at home!
Moreover, we could hardly ever imagine that in Egypt can be such amazing green area with huge palms and incredible flowers. And the night lighting is a real feast and aesthetic pleasure!
I assure, that The Fort Arabesque Hotel is an example of high quality resort. Here you will receive maximum attention, comfort and satisfaction.
We have visited this hotel on a few occasions as it is by far the best one in the area, the grounds are well kept and the staff are amazing and friendly. A big shout out to Dasha she goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, she truly is a credit to the hotel, she was previously in animation so has a very approachable nature, the animation team didn't have many people to entertain whilst we were there due to the low occupancy (Covid) , however they made a point every day/evening to come and talk to the guests which is a lovely touch, Maher in animation is a funny, cheeky, lovely lad who made our evenings.
The restaurants were sometimes closed due to the lack of guests, which makes perfect sense, so most of the meals were in the 159 bar (buffet style), we did pop over to the Pavillion on a couple of occasions as we preferred the menu here and the table service. The pool bar was only open on occasion, however once the hotel started to fill up with more guests the bar opened, again this makes sense as there were so few people.
The rooms are spacious, clean and tidy and should you wish for extra water or cans of drink for the mini fridge just ask the cleaner and they will happily provide it for you.
Tipping is usual at any Egyptian hotel so would suggest taking dollar bills for this purpose as although they are grateful for £1 coins it is harder for them to exchange these, I usually take extra sterling notes to change this up for them to bring home with us.
We have already booked our flights back in September as we are missing our little extended family.
