SUNRISE Holidays Resort (Adults Only) is an adults-only hotel on Egypt's Red Sea Riviera. It welcomes guests aged 16 and over. The hotel is a short walk from Hurghada, a popular resort that was once a small fishing village. With its own nightclub and beach, spa, bars and restaurants, the hotel is a welcoming spot for a relaxing holiday in the North African sun. The hotel has a pool that's heated in winter. When it's time for a swim, you can either have a dip in the pool or head straight to the sea. You can relax in the sun by the pool or on the beach, and when you get thirsty you can get a drinks in one of eight bars of the hotel. For an active holiday, you can use the hotel's gym, join in with an aerobics class or take part in sports such as beach volleyball. There are also lower-key activities such as darts and pool available. The hotel has a spa for you to unwind in, which includes a steam room and a sauna. While you're there, you could enjoy a massage or a beauty treatment such as a manicure or a facial. Entertainment is provided by the hotel, with activities during the day and shows in the evenings. At mealtimes, you can visit one of five restaurants. There are eight bars in total, one of which is open 24 hours a day. You'll find a few bars and restaurants in the area surrounding the hotel and further eating and drinking options in Hurghada.
The hotel is on sandy lagoon in a quiet area. This part of the coast is popular with scuba divers, and you could take a look at some of the underwater wildlife using a snorkel and mask. Sheraton Road, 500m away, which hugs the coastline and leads north to Hurghada, has some places where you can eat and drink. There's also a supermarket 500m from the hotel where you can pick up essentials. The centre of Hurghada is 500m away from SUNRISE Holidays Resort. You can wander around the marina, which is 2km from the hotel, and perhaps do some shopping. At night, you could go to one of the town's many nightclubs. Eating options in Hurghada include a number of fish restaurants, where you can try locally caught produce, as well as Chinese, Italian and international cuisines.
The main buffet restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, and there's a second buffet restaurant that opens for dinner and serves an Arabic buffet. The three a la carte restaurants serve Mediterranean, Fusion and Diet dishes.
In the day, you can take part in some water sports, take a fitness class or relax in the spa with a massage or sauna session. If you'd like to play a round of golf, you can head to a course that's within driving distance of the hotel, to the south.

We've stayed here last year for a memorable 2 weeks holiday in November 2019 and it was absolutely amazing.
On arrival we got an upgrade to a deluxe room on 6th floor which was one of the best and offered amazing views. All the staff were absolutely amazing and very hard working. The beach is not huge, had way better during our trips to Hurghada but it's very nice and always clean. All the restaurants offer great food, good variety and the mojitos from the beach bar were the best. You don't get a lot of hassle from reps trying to sell you excursions, boat trips etc and that's a big plus. The animation team was great and did their best to make you feel welcomed and their evening shows were also very good.
The hotel is in walking distance from downtown and we really enjoyed the evening walks on Hurghada's streets.
The resort it's not huge and you get to know all the guests within few days and make friends and there's also a lot of young people. There's something magic about this place and you feel like home away from home. I was hoping to come back this year but unfortunately will not happen because of difficult times we have now because of covid but I really hope I'll see you all soon healthy and ready to party again.
All the best
Everything was perfect, from the lovely staff to the top quality food and clean rooms. The lagoon was breathtaking and the pools were super clean. It wont be the last time. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special
The only positive thing was the location, ie not too secluded.
The food was OK but over eager waiters just take your plate away while you are eating. One of the chefs was rude when a guest asked what the dish was he yelled at her. They get quite nasty in second week if you don’t tip.
The hairdresser staff very rude especially the ignorant curly haired chap, makes nasty remarks in Arabic about guests , assuming they don’t understand.
The spa is dirty, jacuzzi water dirty, they harass you to buy stuff so your time on beach is exhausting and no relaxation allowed.
The beach was a disappoint, no shoreline to walk along, only a little lagoon area, so if it’s a beach holiday you need go for a Memsha or beyond hotel.
Staff ask for tips, and if you give then they bring their friends on last day to guilt trip you into coughing up.
If you have a certain room in mind email the management before do NOT ask certain staff as they want payment for it and can be quite persistent.
This is the main reason I never booked again.staff behaviour.
You don’t want to complain as the6 might get fired all you want is strict disciplinary for them to avoid future issues for others, so it is awkward.
Noisy guests in room next door, had to ring reception many times.
Reception failed to give wake up call after I requested so I nearly missed my diving trip and would have lost my money. It was a mad rush to get ready and out to get there,
I never returned.
