Ali Baba Palace is an All Inclusive hotel in a beachfront location a short drive away from the resort of Hurghada in Egypt. It's on a pebble beach where you can enjoy a waiter service after a swim in the sea. The resort is popular with divers and the hotel can provide snorkeling equipment if you want to explore the underwater world yourself. Ali Baba Palace has two outdoor pools and a kids' pool surrounded by gardens and palm trees. There's a water park at the hotel, and during the winter one of the pools is heated. In the daytime there are aqua aerobics sessions, or you can spend an afternoon on the sun terrace. The hotel has seven bars, including a beach bar, a pool bar and a Sushi bar. You can choose from one of the four restaurants on site. You can make the most of the tennis courts, gym and beach volleyball. For something more low-key there's mini golf, table tennis and pool. If you'd prefer to relax, the hotel has a spa with a sauna and a Turkish bath. There's also a menu for massages and beauty treatments available. 6x per week, there are live shows suitable for the whole family.
Ali Baba Palace is on the beach if you want to swim in the Red Sea. It's also 10km from Sekala in the resort of Hurghada. This part of the city is centred around the old harbour and you'll find plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. Sekala also has a mall and cinema. The evening entertainment in Hurghada tends to be found here too. El Dahar is 17km from the hotel and it's here that you can explore the old town, including the traditional market.
Three of the restaurants at Ali Baba Palace offer buffet meals and are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can choose from international dishes including Asian and Italian. The hotel also has an a la carte seafood restaurant. Kids' buffets or menus are available too.
The hotel runs a kids' club for ages 4 to 12, which is open six days a week. Children can also attend mini discos.
All rooms at Ali Baba Palace are air conditioned, have a satellite TV and a balcony or terrace.

Please becareful when booking this hotel, we have been a few times in the past and never had any issues but we went in November after speaking direct to hotel and asking if pools were heated to which they said all pools heated including aqua park which was a big lie just to get you out there then they apologise and say they made a mistake. Also had several things go missing from our room but they choose to do nothing about it and make you look stupid.
I think this hotel has been taken over by new management as its not the same as it used to be. We tried leaving the hotel a week early because the pools were too cold to use which is quite common that time of Yr in egypt hence we checked with hotel before we booked the hotel but they lied saying all pools heated when in fact none were. They tried to keep us like prisoners in the hotel as they wouldn't let us go because they said we booked 2 weeks not 1.
When we tried to explain that we booked an early flight as we didn't want to stay at a hotel that has no care for guests except care to take your money they then ramped up the pressure to keep us at the hotel.
My wife and 2 yr old were quite scared by this point as they wouldn't allow us to leave and everytime we tried to call taxi they would intervine and tell the taxi to go. It took nearly an hour trying to get out of this awful hotel and into the safety of a local driver who managed to get us away from the hotel.
I would do your research before picking this hotel as there are alot more better hotels like Titanic beach/palace or jungle aqua park.
The food is also very limited at the moment due to covid and they were constantly running out of food items and drinks. Took 3 days before we could get cold milk for a cup of tea.
Most nites we would walk up to senzo for mcdonalds or Kfc which was a life saver. Love Egypt Love Hurghada but definitely would never recommend nor go back to Ali baba. They are also using Jasmime hotel direct next door for anyone who test positive for covid. There is no place to snorkel at Ali baba that is nice like other hotels and would recommend the day trip snorkeling. Bar staff at Ali baba are very nice and polite which is the only positive. When we got home we showed our travel company proof that the hotel said their pools would be heated when we was there and also when we complained at the hotel they put a slip of paper under our door which said sorry but the pools are not heated til end of November which clearly showed they lied to us just to get our money as they know once you are there its hard to get anything done as they then pretend not to understand or talk a word of English. The hotel now say that the pools were heated even though I had proof they wasn't. I just think it was a big scam to get people out there as covid the numbers are low
Nice, clean sandy beach. Rooms are very old in poor condition. We had two weeks same food, same dishes. Staff very nice and kind. If you will not left $tip one day then your room will not be cleaned at the next day. Came back little bit disappointed.
Arrived to a warm and friendly welcome from the Reception Staff.
From the moment we arrived we felt safe here. They have certainly gone above and beyond to ensure your safety during this awful period we are suffering world wide.
The hotel was clean, plenty of hand sanitizer, staff wearing mask and keeping distance.
