I have stayed here on many occasions. Mostly 1 or 2 nights for business in the area, but I have also been a few times with family visiting Copenhagen. I have mostly stayed in standard rooms, but for the last two stays have been upgraded to something I would call a junior suite with plenty of space. It has been very nice! The beds are good (in all rooms) and the staff is always helpful and smiling.
Before the whole COVID-19 situation breakfast was super good here, and they are really doing a great job under the circumstances and still serve very nice breakfast. Overall I can strongly recommend it for business travellers in the area, but it is also a good option for families with family rooms for four people.
A nice hotel on close distance to the center of Copehagen and train station in 100meter. Got some complains but the management did all to correct this and succeed. Prefere rooms in the new wing on train track side.Cooler in the summer. They have a good restaurant were you can eat quick.
We were supposed to stay in this hotel for 2 nights after having booked in advance some months ago. Because of COVID-19, our trip to Copenhagen has been cancelled and our vacation as well.
I asked to the front office manager of this hotel to accept our cancellation as we could not travel from France, due to our flight cancellation.
I was told to reach out the third party agency to try to cancel this reservation. Booking.com told me that the hotel refused to refund the reservation.
I sent a email again to the hotel, and the answer given to me was to contact the travel agency.
This is not at all a customer-oriented answer, and I’m really disappointed about this non professional feedback from Scandic Hotel.
I would have expected at least a credit, to be able to come back in a future period.
Dear front office shiftleader, Mr Robin Johan Arnold Ahman, you have lost customers because of your behavior.
