Only stayed for one night, New Years Eve, and our stay was perfect. Lovely room with a view over the lake, spacious and comfy beds. The things that was not perfect was that the bathroom door handles were not clean, which they ought to be especially when we are in the midst of a pandemic. The pillows are a bit small and flat for our taste, would like them bigger, more fluffy and not so worn out. The breakfast was take away due to restrictions. Though fresh and tasty it was very sparse and not filling for two vegans and one gluten intolerant – fruit salad, jam, dry gluten free bread, juice and black coffee.
I really like Scandic Copenhagen, because of the views and the location. It's always quick to check in and out. The decor is current, clean and Scandinavian warm. I've been there twice now, and am looking forward to staying again. I know what to expect and I know that it'll live up to my expectations. The internet is fast and reliable.
A very nice stay in the center of Copenhagen ended a bit chaotic, since two of four elevators were out of sevice. Trapped on 9th floor for more than 20 minutes resulted in a stressful breakfast with limited assortment. A bad ending to an otherwise fine stay. We will probably come back, but not before corona has ended! (a high building with ineffective elevators can't be recommended).
