Venus Beach is a seafront hotel in Paphos, on the southwest coast of the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. It's popular with couples and families of all ages. There's a sandy beach a few steps away from the hotel that you can spend your days at, or you could relax by the outdoor pool area, which includes a kids' swimming pool. If you want to exercise you can use the gym or take part in some classes. Venus Beach puts on a variety of entertainment throughout the week both during the day and at night. For children, there's a hotel-run kids' club that offers a range of activities. There's a choice of four restaurants and three bars at the hotel, including a pool bar. Here, you'll find bars and restaurants that are dotted along the bay, and there's also the chance to take a boat trip or a sightseeing tour.
The closest beach is 1m from the hotel, and is one of the more peaceful beaches in the region. You can get snacks and drinks at the local supermarket, which is around 200m away from Venus Beach. The centre of Paphos is 3.5km from the hotel, and has a wide variety of cafes, Cypriot tavernas and restaurants. You'll also find a lively nightlife scene here, with a number of bars and clubs. You can spend the day at the local theme park, which is set in a natural landscaped area and has a range of water slides.

We stayed here for a week during the first week of November.
We booked a standard sea view room but got upgraded to the premium sea view room. The view was incredible! It was so nice waking up to that every morning and the sunset view was great too. I would definitely recommend this room and try and get a room higher up too! The room and en-suite were large, clean and modern.
The pool area is nice and pool bar was reasonably priced and staff were friendly. The hotel has its own lovely beach (although other members of the public can use it) and unfortunately the sun loungers are not free.
We were bed and breakfast and there was a fair amount of choice for breakfast. It was very self serve, even the coffee, but maybe this is due to COVID.
There’s a reasonably choice of bars and restaurants nearby. You must go to Gustoso (10 min walk, turn right out of the hotel) as we absolutely loved this restaurant and found no others came close.
There is a Lidl and bus stop right outside the hotel which takes you to coral bay (nice beach) or the main harbour for €1.50 one way. We used the bus to the main harbour and changed to the airport bus when we went home - €3 for the whole 45 minute journey is very decent.
We really enjoyed our stay here! I agree with some of the negative reviews that some parts of the hotel are dated and need a revamp - particularly floor -1 with the gym and table tennis - but this didn’t negatively affect our stay at all.
Me and my partner went in October for his 22nd birthday, we had a great holiday and our hotel room was lovely, with a beautiful view of the beach. Some of the staff seemed quite miserable but the receptionist Milena was great& very helpful, if we had any problems she resolved them immediately.
It’s situated in a nice place and opposite you had a Lidl which was handy, and loads of restaurants/pubs near by.
There was also bars&clubs not far too.
Would definitely recommend and will be going back next year.
Despite the difficulties that COVID-19 has caused, the hotel did a great job of keeping everyone safe and made our stay fabulous. We were bed and breakfast. The room was lovely and the breakfasts offered a wide variety of choice.
All of the staff were very helpful offering advice and arranging taxis when we asked. The location in the beach is first class and we will definitely go back there soon.
