Don't usually bother writing reviews but this as to be said went the last school holiday week end October would NEVER go here again by far the dirtiest hotel I've ever been in hmm were to start
thick scum black round edges of pool. Arrived Saturday wouldn't even unpack my cases I was in tears you couldn't swing a cat in the so called superior rooms tinyest of wardrobes no storage space beds rock hard, ants on floors cause not regularly cleaned, I had a walk round the whole grass or greenery area is dead with pipes every were, rubbish all round pool area an broken floors, that's not to mention state of indoor pool that's crumbling to bits disgusting. Restaurant food cold an absolutely no choice of alternative food an very repetitive, every thing well outdated splash park run down an kids play area over grown an dirty, there was no cleaning been done glass round seating area absolutely filthy, I rang Jet2 that night all they could do is pass it on to rep an all she did was make excuses an charge us to upgrade our room to a family room which was a bit better. Then had cheek to say to my husband have I finished moaning, algi on pool floor we took her an showed her she made lots of excuses about 3 rs say in I actually saw them start to clean the place. Would strongly NOT recommended this hotel it's in desperate need of up halling . Worst holiday I've ever had
Very good hotel and we liked if. Every room especially on ground floor is like mini villa with own terrace where you can sit in the evening. It makes it easy with kids if you need to pick something up quickly.
Bathroom, fridge, UK sockets, shower, bedside tables, mini sofa all in the room and in good condition. Towels are grey indeed but we could use it.
Food is good, not huge choices which makes it better not to overeat with all inclusive, salad, meats, fish, kids menu, all there. Drinks are fine, local beer KEO, juice, ice cream. Bar overlooking the sea is nice.
Pool areas and sunbeds are clean and right outside your room if staying by the pool.
Lots of free lilos and toys for kids. Kids pool, deep and shallow end.
Some rooms overlook the sea, some waterpark, some luna park and some are in between the aisles. All nice and quet.
Shame about waterpark, it closed 31 Oct, few days in we arrived. We only used it for 30 min twice as though we’ll go another day. Maybe reminder from staff would be nice.
Also luna park is around the corner which is great for kids with FREE soft play, but again closed 1 Nov, with no notice from staff when buying lots of tokens the night before.
Lots of cats in hotel, be aware if you’re mot keen or allergic. They come to you and your room. But our little ones loved them.
Right, beach... there is no beach!!! I mean the hotel is by the seafront BUT to get to sea front you need to walk through a massive deserted wild field with no pathway for 2-3 min. It’s tricky with buggy. And when you get there it a cyclist road, you can’t enter the sea as all massive rocks. Beautiful sunset though. So if you want normal sandy beach with no stones in the water, and where you can actually swim, nearest is Laminaki (10) min walk but stones in the water, Nissi (40 min)-but all beach is full of cigarettes buts, with club music all day long, Landa (45min), Sandy Bay (30) min-best one with beautiful lagoon. Or take taxi 8-10 euros one way.
Entertainment is none due to covid, gym, indoor pool is closed, kids club closed. Some music is playing 9-11pm and bingo few nights. Standard and was fine for us as not massive fans.
Shops are right outside, church, sing of Aiya Napa, city centre 15 min. Good softplay at cafe Bedrocks right outside but drinks overpriced.
All around the hotel everyone wearing masks and sanitising. Verdict I would recommend if you are not too fussy. But when it’s fully occupied I can imagine it may get uncomfortable.
Cyprus is lovely anyway and with current situation can’t complain. Good hotel!
This hotel have AMAZING location, just AMAZING! Probably, this is the best place to stay, if you wanna do some lazy holiday things, and also the nice walking, for seeing beaches, parks, city centre, city port, shops and even the Lunapark!
We (two adults), going for All Inclusive, were there in October, and in time of the Covid19, but everything was really good.
Staff are nice, smart and friendly. Rooms are clean. Food is good and every day it's different. Drinks are cold and tasty. Pools are big. Akvapark is quite interesting. Ice-cream is brilliant.
Very good experience, for good price.
