Set on a hillside amid pine trees and olive groves, Pharos Hvar Bayhill Hotel is found on the south west shore of the island of Hvar on Croatia's Dalmatian coast. It's a short walk downhill to the beach and the Adriatic Sea. This adult-focused hotel is built in a modern style with industrial touches. It was fully renovated in 2016. A brief stroll takes you to the bustling town of Hvar, which is typical of Croatian towns with its red-roofed houses and winding streets running down to the sea. Pharos Hvar Bayhill Hotel is set across buildings that sit around the central, outdoor swimming pool. It has airy interiors featuring bright pops of colour in the decor and furniture. There's a restaurant with an open-air terrace that has views looking down to the coast and across to the neighbouring islands. You can relax on the terrace with a drink from the pool bar, and there's a second bar in the lobby. The sandy beaches around Hvar are set in sheltered bays and backed by woodland. In the town itself you can walk around the harbour where boats and yachts are moored, visit local shops and restaurants or enjoy the bustling nightlife in its bars and clubs.
Momo Beach is 250m from Pharos and a 300m stroll from the centre of Hvar town. From Hvar's ferry terminal, you can travel to the Croatian mainland city of Split, Ancona in Italy or neighbouring islands on the Dalmatian coast. You can also take a boat trip to the Pakleni Islands that lie just off the coast from Hvar. Here, you can snorkel and swim. The hotel is 15km from the village of Velo Grablje, where farmers grow the lavender that the area is known for. You'll also find rosemary, olive oil and honey stalls, and you can eat traditional Croatian food in one of the village's restaurants.
In the restaurant at Pharos you can enjoy a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, eaten indoors or al fresco. The hotel also offers an early breakfast service. There's a pool bar serving light meals during the day, as well as cocktails and soft or alcoholic drinks.
Pharos has an outdoor gym and rental bikes are available, so you can explore the surrounding countryside. You could also book a massage.
Nice and fresh pool area with both ordinary sun loungers and extra comfortable lounge beds.
Rooms at Pharos are bright and minimalist in style. They all have a balcony as well as Wi-Fi, satellite TV and air conditioning.

Breakfast was almost a war to have food.
Swimming pool is a crowd. Lots of buildings around a pool, looks like a condominium.
Not for couples looking for peace and relax place . It is a family resort chaotic place. Location is good.
Fantastic hotel for young people, couples, etc... Realy decent breakfast, staff are very good and pleaset, rooms are very clean, prices are aproachable.
We will be back for sure.
Only one minus is not having fridge in room.
-Breakfast was not the Buffet but Hunger games
This hotel and the whole island was not prepared for tourist season 2020. Eventhough, they've decided to open the hotels, but with staff shortages. (Better spare some money, right) Dinner was in another hotel, 6PM-7PM (Covid made them make different times for larger groups of people, 6-7, 7-8 etc) BUT if Pharos had opened their kitchen, we could have eaten there, since it is remodelled last year. Nobody eats dinner at 6PM except nursing home patients. Its the best time to stay on the beach.
Room service was loud and banging the doors since 7.30 and throughout the whole afternoon, so no sleeping in the morning or the afternoon. I am on a vacation, and molested by staff noise. One day one younger maid broke into the room, knocking once and entering in a couple of seconds, not ever waiting for response. Other day, we had Do not disturb sign, but our room was still interrupted by maid.
Breakfast in first couple of days was not enough for the rush, and we were fighting for eggs or bacon. Too small restaurant for all the people they booked + covid measures.
Pluses - cleanlines overall, new rooms, pool is nice, staff is friendly, discount was very big :D
