We stayed here for the last part of our honeymoon and we were blown away. We had booked a suite but we got upgraded to a deluxe suite, based on the corner of the hotel with our own hot tub on the balcony. The room was huge, spacious and clean. Love the feel of the rooms and decor fits in very well with Dubrovnik.
Staff were absolutely amazing, so attentive particularly the guy working at the pastry and cocktail bar. So friendly, gave us advice on the area and anything else we needed.
Breakfast was fantastic- not buffet due to Covid but the staff give you a selection of everything and then you can order any hot items.
The hotel is in a beautiful location, lots of nice restaurants within walking distance as well as swimming spots.
The cave bar and sea area at the hotel is great, and sectioned off away from the promenade.
The hotel has a confusing lift system which takes a couple of turns to get used to.
Pool was small but nice but you cannot complain as you are right by the sea and the hotel also has a second pool in the other building.
We took a private sunset boat trip run by the hotel which was incredible and worth every penny!
Everything was just perfect, thank you so much we loved everything about our stay! Would highly recommend.
We had a great stay here and the hotel is great value.
The bay is great and the sun beds by the sea were really relaxing ,oh and the sun sets are magnificent.
But here is the rub,it’s neither boutique or 5 star.
The rooms are large and comfortable and the staff are excellent but the hotel is looking tired and facilities are not that of a five star hotel.
We were there when it was quiet ...Covid impact...but if the hotel was full I am not sure how you could get a sun bed by the sea or pool.Breakfast was ok,and the Cave bar was closed when we were there but in fairness so was half the hotel.
It is definitely a bus trip or taxi to the old town
We were thoroughly spoilt with this hotel! It was the first hotel we stayed in for our honeymoon and it set the standards high! We arrived early but they stored our luggage for us and explained we could use any of the facilities (restaurants, bars and pools) while we wait. Then when our room was ready one of the concierge took us to our rooms and explained exactly what lift we would need to get for where etc and when we arrived at the room we had a white bow on our room number which we thought was a lovely touch! We also had a complimentary bottle of wine from the staff to congratulate us which was really lovely! The room was large and really clean with a beautiful view of the sea which also allowed us to watch the sunset from our balcony. The hotel was not too far away from the centre but we opted for an Uber which was only a couple of £’s. There is also an area for you to swim in the crystal clear, turquoise sea which I thoroughly recommend but be aware that sea urchins are very common in Croatia so bring swim shoes with you and if you forget don’t worry they sell them everywhere there! We also got a complimentary tour up a mountain for a panoramic view of the city... we absolutely recommend this! It was absolutely incredible while stopping at a mini waterfall on the way. The staff could not be more helpful and we cannot wait to go back again one day!
