Living in Spain 🇪🇸 and just wanting a break for 10 days we arrived at this property on Sunday 1st November around 7pm and on checking in was greeted by the rudest , most unhelpful grey haired should have retired long time ago member of staff a no personality gentleman who had zero qualities of customer skills and I spoke Spanish !!!
Room keys were thrown over and asking for a Safety Deposit Box and the WIFI code his eyes rolled in his head and I was about to check outside the hotel if I had actually run his dog over but alas as a first impression it was just his way of saying “ Welcome “
Our room 547 was tired and although the smell of bleach was there the bathroom and terrace was filthy dirty and bedding was good but towels were old and okay we had not paid mega bucks for 10 days still for a 3 Star rated property it was 4/10
Everywhere seemed tired and the pool area was following zero guidelines on sun-beds as the beds themselves were filthy dirty and we was told after using them turn them over for the pool / lifeguard on duty to sanitize , seriously in 5 days around the pool I thought he had no legs as he didn’t move from the bar area once to clean a bed
As for the swimming pool it’s a danger zone so many missing pool tiles missing on the steps and in the pool I list count and thought if I went in that dirty pool I would catch more than COVID , and if anybody reads this from the hotel start doing some Staff Training and Customer Skills to make guests welcome as the next year will be hard in 2021 and you will be empty
Sorry but the property needs a serious deep clean and freshen up to survive 😡
Apologies I will not be back
We where supposed to go in March, we live in the south and go to this hotel several times, not anymore, they messaged me through the covid crisis asking me if I would rather change my dates than cancel, they said they would honour for September, for my 8 year old daughters birthday , they sent us in the meantime a cancelation of the booking, so tried emailing, but to no avail, they are completely ignoring me and bouncing back emails, so we have lost our money, wasn't mega amount(but that's not the point) , coz this is a cheap budget, not even that clean hotel, but it did the job and my daughter liked the pool, that's about all that's going for it, obviously won't be getting our custom again. I know its closed but they were quick enough with emails when wanting me to change the booking
I wish there was an experience to tell....
But I can’t contact them and have lost out on ALL of my holiday!!!
Considering I am legally not allowed to travel to Tenerife you think they would be decent humans and offer a refund or change of date... but nope! 6 hours onto love holidays and not able to contact the hotel I have lost out on my entire holiday.
Disappointing considering there is a world crisis!!!!
