Was a lovely hotel very very clean also pool area very clean maids clean your room every other day clean towels etc can not fault the cleanliness! Food is very nice lots to choose from fish, pork, chicken loads of salad and plenty of cakes and fresh fruit! Outside you have a bar with barman to be honest they are not very happy Could do with a smile now and again, but the restaurant staff are amazing So happy and friendly everyone of them what a difference it’s makes. Entertainment sorry to say is rubbish, so we have been going out plenty near by live singers and cocktail bar next door, great two week holiday with my sister! Only let down is evening entertainment.
The specific hotel my family and i stayed in was Canarife Palace. I mention this because our transfer driver could not find our hotel when he dropped us off at Blue Sea Puerto Resort (there are 3 hotels under that name). He then drove us around for a further 15 minutes before bringing us back to the correct hotel.
I was not too impressed by the decor of Canarife Palace hotel as it looked outdated and the carpet appeared old. The beds in the rooms were covered with nice sheets but when i pulled back the sheets the condition of the beds were awful.
Once we got over the old-fashioned decor and awful beds we then began to enjoy our holiday and the pleasant weather.
The rooms were fairly clean and room service was satisfactory. We enjoyed the food and there was a healthy variety to choose from. The staff were very friendly and the animation team were engaging with our children. Our kids spent hours in the pool, i was able to use the gym and it was easy to arrange excursions from the hotel.
I did not feel the hotel should have been rated as a 4* though.
Room, accommodation, food, activities for kids where great. Only minus is distance to beach - long path with huge level difference which may be difficult for some. It's a good idea to rent a car if so. Great bonus is possibility to use all facilities from three hotels (same company) located right next to each other! For small kids additional plus is indoor pool with heated water and special room for playing.
