Iberostar Bouganville Playa is a family-friendly hotel in the bustling resort of Costa Adeje on the south-west coast of Tenerife. It's a short stroll along the promenade from sandy Playa del Bobo beach, which has a gently shelving shore that makes it popular with young families. The beach is also backed by cafes and restaurants, so you can enjoy a drink or snack with views of the ocean. The hotel has traditional whitewashed walls, brightly decorated interiors and gardens filled with palm trees. There are two main outdoor pools, one of which is a heated infinity pool, so you can soak in the warm water and enjoy the uninterrupted views. There's also a separate shallower kids' pool where younger ones can splash about during the day. If you like to stay active on holiday, you can head to the gym for a workout, join an aerobics or aqua aerobic session, or take one of the fitness classes, which usually include yoga, stretching and pilates. For some competitive fun, you can make the most of the football pitch. To unwind afterwards, you can book yourself in for a massage. The hotel has two buffet restaurants and three bars. The resort organises regular family-friendly entertainment, which usually includes live shows. The nearest main town, Adeje, is a short drive from the hotel, and has plenty of restaurants, bars and shops to explore. It also has a bustling nightlife culture, with a number of clubs and late-night music venues.
The nearest supermarket is 200m from the hotel, so you can easily pick up drinks, snacks or travel essentials during your stay. Playa del Bobo beach is 300m away, where you'll find a variety of beachfront bars serving drinks and tapas. There are public transport facilities 1.5km from the hotel, giving you easy access to the wider region should you want to take a trip around the southern coast. For a family-friendly day trip, you can visit one of the two local water parks, both of which are within walking distance of the hotel. There's also a host of other entertainment in the surrounding area, including an escape room game steps from the hotel. The centre of Adeje is 10km from the hotel. Here you'll find a range of shops where you can pick up gifts and souvenirs, as well as restaurants serving traditional Canarian food.
The hotel has three bars, including a pool bar, where you can pick up refreshing drinks throughout the day. You can have breakfast and dinner at the main buffet restaurant, with regular theme nights and outdoor seating available. The barbecue buffet restaurant is open for lunch.
Iberostar Bouganville Playa offers a Kids' Club for ages 4-7, a hotel-run kids' entertainment programme, and a kids' disco in the evenings.

Stayed here for a week, didn’t want to leave.
I really can’t fault this hotel. They have put very safe Covid measures in place all over the hotel.
Word of warning , go on a diet before staying here, fantastic variety of food, always hot and plentiful.
Staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful.
Would not hesitate to stay here again .
Just returned from a week there amid all the restrictions back home we travelled there just before lockdown WOW what amazing place the hotel its self made us feel safe an the staff well they were fantastic 👏 could not have wished for better only sad thing it was cut short as the hotel had to close. After only been opened for 10 days I just felt sorry for all the staff 😞 having to go though all that again but still trying making our holiday the best. We will definitely be returning thankyou all.
Just returned from a weeks stay.
Arrived the day after announcement of Lockdown 2.0 so we where happy to actually get there
On arrival we were upgraded to Prestige Room as hotel occupancy was approx 15%
The hotel was spotless, plenty of sanitiser stations and pool areas sanitised each morning.
The rules regarding mask wearing was not an issue as it protected both customers and employees
Even though there where limited clients, the hotel still maintained a high level of service including all areas open and daily day and night entertainment
We were lucky to receive our full weeks vacation, whilst many had there’s cut short due to returning flights being brought forward
Unfortunately for the hotel staff, the hotel was due to be closed the day after our return and is not due to reopen until December.
Thanks to all employees and we wish you a quick return - both to re-opening and hopefully ‘normality’
