Stayed in a private appt at Sunset View. Staff were wonderful, so helpful during my stay which was cut short due to coronavirus. They were under no obligation to print my boarding pass etc when I had to rebook my flight home. They also arranged taxi to airport and even one of the gardeners helped me to take suitcases from appt to get taxi at reception. All of this was greatly appreciated as an elderly lady travelling solo. Have always enjoyed my stays at this resort and hope to do so again when normal life resumes. Had lovely meal in restaurant and after lockdown came into force they still managed to serve takeaway food until 6pm every day. They also offered a supermarket service. Well Done to you all. Photo from when my son and daughter in law came to visit before lockdown.💖
We were “welcomed home” by Diego, who was extremely pleasant & helpful and when we got to our room, it was followed up with a phone call to check if everything was ok. We had a decent room and also a nice balcony watching the endless amount of planes coming into the airport & watching the sunset in the evening. It was a strange week as the supermarket over the road is shut for several weeks for a total refurbishment, so you had to travel out to get the basic essentials & then on Saturday evening it was announced that there was to be a lockdown of bars, restaurants etc., over the forthcoming days (due to the Coronavirus outbreak) so it was eerily quiet over the road in the top & bottom square in San Blas.
My wife and I stayed at the Sunset Sea View Apartment’s for the second time. This was my parents 50th wedding anniversary trip, although we only stayed for 5 nights, my parents stayed for 5 weeks.
Great well equipped apartments with either a pool or sea view.
Couldn’t fault the grounds, clean, child friendly (although we did not travel with children :) )and immaculately kept.
A huge thanks to Aurora who helped us organise this surprise trip away.
