We have just stayed there for 2 weeks and enjoyed most of it. We stayed in a studio. Comfortable beds, good shower. Really nice staff. Room 304. Great sea view and sun on the balcony.
Bad bits. The pictures they show on their web site don't really reflect what it is like. The rooms really need modernization. The towels they give you, 2 for 2 people for 4 days are as big as a napkin and pretty useless for a 90 kilo person. There is no where to sit if you want to watch television. You have to lie on the beds. And they give you just 2 of everything. 2 plates, 2 bowls, 2 knives etc.
But I have to say for the price we paid it wasn't that bad.
I would stay there again, but not in a studio.
the resort was excelent, fast check in, good rooms, nice view and good services.
the location close to the sea and shops so close, the best beach of south tenerife there are no more of 15 minutes in car
We live in Gran Canaria and we’re travelling back from the UK after visiting family. We decided to try the quieter area of Costa Del Silencio. The area is what it says it is, very quiet. These apartments are located on a very nice street with lots of other holiday homes/residential properties close by and they are all really nice. The closest bar is probably the albatross and it’s really good. You can get two bottles of beer for €2 and they have a wide selection on beers wines and spirits. The woman working there is also very nice and you can see that it is a bar for both tourists and regulars with a mixture of english and Spanish. The restaurants close by are so cheap. There’s only really one strip of bars and restaurants and a couple of little squares and honestly we didn’t have any bad food anywhere. Sweet franks and El Botijo we’re both really good, particularly el Botijo. We had a mixed grill platter for two for €20 and it was good quality.
The apartments reception area is very bright and modern and the staff were so polite and helpful. The only gripe we had was that we asked for a high up room and were given one low down and it was on the outside of the property facing the road so the outlook wasn’t great at all. The room itself was good. We originally had room 412 which sounds high up but it was actually ground level. We had to move to 414 as the patio door wouldn’t open. The room was very clean, had comfy beds and a nice bathroom. These apartments look like before the lockdown they were in the process of being refurbed, particularly the walkway to the pool area. If they do these finishing touches, it has the potential to be really nice. The pool area is nice, it gets the sun throughout the day and the Kayan bar within the apartments served food food. There’s also a restaurant/pool bar, a supermarket and a gym though that was not open given the current climate. What I would say is this really is a quiet area. We walked a few miles one day and it was pretty much a residential area, you’d need the bus to reach a really populated holiday area such as los Cristianos etc. All in all though, we really enjoyed it and it would be nice to visit again when there are more tourists to see the place lively. There is no beach. It’s rocks looking into the sea and it isn’t accessible. You’d need to walk for around 30 minutes or so to reach an accessible beach.
