Playaolid Suites & Apartments is an All Inclusive hotel on the southwest coast of the Canary Island of Tenerife. It's a short walk from the beach at Fanabe. The hotel has a Mediterranean feel to it, with whitewashed walls and tiled roofs, and was refurbished in 2017. The hotel has two swimming pools and a children's pool. The main pool is surrounded by palm trees and a grassy lawn where you can lounge, perhaps relaxing with a book or indulging in a siesta. The kids' pool and the main pool are heated during the cooler months, so you can have a dip all year round. You can get breakfast, lunch and dinner in the buffet restaurant at Playaolid Suites & Apartments. There's a kids' menu available during the school holidays that includes chicken nuggets and hamburgers. Themed nights are held in the restaurant. Soft and alcoholic drinks are included with meals, and there's a minibar in each room that has chilled beers and snacks. The hotel has four bars in total. Drinks are also on offer throughout the day and into the evening; you could opt for a beer, a mocktail or a soft drink and enjoy it on the hotel's sun terrace. Playaolid Suites & Apartments provides daily entertainment that's suitable for the whole family. If your kids fancy meeting people their own age, they can join in with the kids' club where they can take part in games, arts and crafts. Teenagers can go to movie nights and play table tennis or computer games.
The hotel is in a popular area in Costa Adeje, a resort with sandy beaches. You'll find Fanabe Plaza, a shopping mall, 200m away from Playa Olid. Here you can visit the supermarket and perhaps pick up a few souvenirs to take home. For a dip in the sea, the nearest beach, Playa de Fanabe, is 800m away from the hotel. This stretch of coastline is known for its clear waters and has Blue Flag status. Venture a little further afield during your stay and you'll find a Thai-themed water park, 2.6km from the hotel. Playa de las Americas resort, which is famous for its surfing and nightlife, is within driving distance of the hotel, towards the south. If you're feeling energetic, you could head up Chayofita Mountain, a short climb above the beach at Playa de los Cristianos. You'll be rewarded with views over the town and the sea.
You can eat at the hotel restaurant, and, if you're peckish in the afternoons, light meals such as hot dogs and pizza are available from the pool bars. You could also head out to Fanabe to eat. Here you'll find a number of bars and restaurants, many of which have sea views.
Playa Olid has a kids' club for children aged 3-11 and a teen club for ages 12-17, with various activities on offer.
Suites and apartments at Playa Olid are decorated in neutral tones with splashes of colour. All have tiled floors, TVs and fridges.

My first holiday to this Ireland. Wow was I surprised this complex was above my expectations. The food was excellent the staff were the most attractive better than when I stayed in 5 star. Unfortunately I could not return due to the current situation. The moment I can I will be back..
Love this hotel. 15 minute walk from Siam Park with free bus regular stopping at bottom of the road. Staff were great here. Entertainment was great too. Only problem was the queuing for beds first thing in the morning. Needs to be stopped. But food and drink were fine. Spend the little bit extra and get the premium booze with the all inclusive. The All inclusive alcohol is not the best.
