Iberostar Selection Sabila is an adults-only hotel in Costa Adeje, Tenerife, with the Blue Flag beach of Playa de Torviscas a short walk away. As the hotel is on the seafront promenade, you'll have ocean views during your stay. Renovated in 2017, the hotel has a fresh interior, high ceilings and glass windows in its public areas that create a bright and airy space. Its pool patio is lined with lawns and palms for a tropical feel, and features two swimming pools, both of which are heated. There's also a rooftop terrace with another pool. If you're in need of a little pampering, you can unwind in the hotel's spa, which has a whirlpool and a sauna, as well as a range of treatments. For some downtime in the sun, you can enjoy juices and other drinks from one of the hotel's three bars. One of the bars has a terrace, where you can relax with a sea view. In the evening, you'll have the choice of two different eating experiences. You can have international and Canary Island cuisine in the hotel's buffet restaurant, or try Spanish delicacies at different stalls in the food market, where dining is accompanied by live music.
Iberostar Sabila is 400m from Playa de Torviscas beach. It's 350m from San Eugenio, with its shops, bars and restaurants that line the promenade. The beach here is sandy, with calm waters. The prom connects to the other beaches in the area. For a lively nightlife scene, you could head to Playa de las Americas for its beachfront nightclubs and karaoke bars. The resort's Safari shopping centre is 3.5km away. To see more of the island's landscape, you could take a day trip to Teide national park, home to Spain's highest mountain.
The hotel has a buffet restaurant which is open for breakfast. Lunch and dinner are also offered as a buffet. The snack bar serves drinks and snacks during the day. There's also a cafe, and if you prefer to eat in your room, room service is available.
Iberostar Sabila organises daily activities such as archery, volleyball and dance classes. There's a gym here, too, as well as table tennis.
Iberostar Sabila has a large pool area with two swimming pools, both of which are heated. On the roof there is a separate heated pool (about 40 m2) for Star Prestige guests.
The rooms are designed in a neutral colour palette and feature nature-inspired murals. They have a balcony or terrace, where you can enjoy drinks from your minibar.

My husband and I stayed for a week in January 20 it was terrific, the staff are very helpful and friendly and the lovely touch of a glass of prosecco on arrival was very welcome, the only downside there was quite alot of maintenance going on around the pool but never the less it was fine. The balcony is a good size but it would be lovely to have a couple of recling chairs, we have had this in other hotels. The rooms are lovely and spotless. We booked for September 2020 but sadly it was cancelled. Now hoping to arrive in May 21. Cant wait to get back.
Stayed for 4 nights and booked a room with a sea-facing view which was well worth it. It felt really magical and the interior of the hotel was perfect. I loved every minute and would happily return. Highly recommended, especially for couples as is very romantic.
My boyfriend and I (And my best friend and brother in law) went at the beginning of October last year and we had such a lovely time. The hotel was fantastic; when we first arrived the check in was so quick and easy. We were offered a complimentary drink on arrival and our bags were taken up to our rooms for us.
We always stay in 4/5* hotels and the rooms were lovely; very modern and spacious. The only negative I can think of is that the coffee/ milk in the room was not replenished daily however the water was. On every floor near the main lifts there is an ice machine which was great for drinking cava and beer in the room as this could be chilled on ice.
It was my best friends birthday whilst we were there and after talking with the staff at the reception desk, she received a complimentary bottle of cava and a dessert. We also decorated the room with white balloons.
Our board basis was bed and breakfast; the food was lovely with a fantastic selection everyday with lots of fresh fruit and fruit juices etc. For lunch we would go to the shop and buy fresh bread, ham, cheese, drinks etc and enjoy these around the pool. Everyday at around 11am, everyone around the pool was given a complimentary cocktail and pastry of some sort.
The entertainment in the day was good, with different activities for people to join in with, however we don’t really get involved with that.
The terrace bar is also really lovely and we went here most days before going out in the evening. The drinks are all put on a tab so keep your eye on this as it may build up (ours did- unless you are all inclusive, the drinks can be quite expensive) but you can pay it off at any time.
Overall we had such an amazing stay and I would 100% stay there again!
