GF Gran Costa Adeje is in the heart of one of Tenerife's most popular areas. The sandy, palm-lined beach of El Duque is a short walk away, while the restaurants and bars of the resort are steps away. If you're looking for something other than swimming, Costa Adeje has water parks, golf and shopping. There are two restaurants and four bars at the hotel. There's a buffet restaurant with outdoor seating and one a la carte restaurant. For views, you can go up to the rooftop terrace for a drink in the bar. There's also a pool bar which serves snacks. You can cool off with a swim in one of the two outdoor pools or the rooftop pool. There's a shallower pool for children too. During the day, you can have a game of squash or tennis. The hotel has equipment you can hire. You can also enjoy family-friendly activities such as mini golf and table tennis. The hotel has a gym and organises aqua aerobics sessions in one of the outdoor pools. You can book yourself a massage treatment, or just visit the spa for a few hours of relaxation. The biggest water park in Europe is a short drive from the hotel.
Playa El Duque is 500m away. The beach has Blue Flag status and is popular with families due to the shallow water. Along the sand there are plenty of ice cream stalls. For something more substantial you'll have a choice of restaurants and cafes on the beach promenade. The hotel is close to bars, restaurants and shopping centres. The marina is 1km from the hotel and has plenty of restaurants and bars. There's a golf course, 3.5km away.
The buffet restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The ‡ la carte restaurant serves dinner. Both restaurants have kids' options. During the day light meals, snacks, ice cream and afternoon tea are available at the hotel. You can also order room service while staying here.
The hotel puts on evening entertainment and there's a kids' disco to keep children amused. You can also play squash and tennis with hired equipment.
All rooms have either a balcony or a terrace and air conditioning. In the room there's a satellite TV, a safe and a minibar.

We stayed at the GF Isabel for several weeks in December, and had a really enjoyable stay,
The hotel which was the only one open in the immediate area and was only running at approx 25% capacity, but the staff worked tirelessly to ensure the hotel was clean and safe,
The reception staff are great and very helpful, they speak very good English, and the holiday starts when you get into the reception, due to Covid-19 we had to provide evidence of a negative test, and despite this the atmosphere was enjoyable,
We had a bungalow which was up a small flight of stairs, I found the apartment very spacious, with a kettle, coffee machine, toaster, and microwave, the beds where quiet comfortable, but where single individual beds,
The resort has many amenities and the laundry room was very beneficial,
We found the bar staff and restaurant staff excellent, while maintaining social distancing they worked very hard to accommodate the guest's, everyone is courteous and says hola as you walk past,
We did not attend any of the shows, as we always generally out and about, until the revised curfew restricted us to get back in time, we often stayed local generally eating out at The Dukes Centro Commercial opposite the GF Isabel,
The Dukes which is an upmarket shopping centre with many designer shops, and there is simply not enough footfall in the centre.
My wife and I came for 2 weeks with friends in Oct 19 and back again in Feb 20. We were going to come back this summer but for obvious reasons, were unable to do so. We will be coming back in Feb 21 if it is possible to do so.
This hotel is in a terrific location. Close to very nice shops, restaurants and a beautiful beach 5-10 min walk away.
The rooms are of a good size with balcony. Very clean and a comfortable bed.
There is plenty of space and pool beds around the large swimming areas and an additional adults only rooftop pool if you prefer.
At breakfast, there is a large selection of pretty much everything you could possibly want and to a very acceptable standard.
The staff we came across were always friendly and had a smile on their face.
We are not normally bothered about evening entertainment but I have to say that the shows every evening were very enjoyable to the point were we looked forward to going every night.
All in all, this hotel has everything we were looking for and we cannot wait to return.
