Be Live Experience la Niña

Be Live Experience La Nina is a family-friendly hotel in Costa Adeje on the south west coast of Tenerife, the biggest of Spain's Canary Islands. It is steps from Playa de la Pinta beach, where you can find bars to pick up a cocktail and enjoy in the sun. The hotel has two outdoor swimming pools, one of which is heated during the low season, from November to March. Children can have fun in the kids pool, which has a shallower depth. When you're feeling active, there is a gym and you can also play squash and boules. If you want to unwind, Be Live Experience La Nina has a spa where you can book in for a treatment. It has an indoor pool, a sauna, a steam room and a Turkish bath. The hotel has a buffet restaurant, and an a la carte restaurant that's open for dinner. One of the bars is open during the day, while the other opens up in the evening. Both serve alcoholic and soft drinks. At night, regular entertainment is organised by the hotel. There's also a kids club, where younger guests can play and make new friends.

Be Live Experience La Nina is 250m from the sandy Playa de la Pinta beach. You'll have views overlooking the mountainous landscape here. The centre of San Eugenio is 500m from the hotel, where you'll find local restaurants to try traditional Spanish cuisine. Safari shopping centre, in the lively resort of Playa de las Americas, is a 3.6km drive away from the hotel and has stores where you can pick up everything from clothes to electrical equipment. For a day out, you can visit the volcano at Teide National Park and take the cable car up or go on a hike.

The hotels buffet restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can also dine at the a la carte restaurant. The pool bar serves coffee, tea and cookies for a couple of hours in the afternoon, while snacks and sandwiches are available at different intervals.

Be Live Experience La Nina has activities for children such as regular mini discos. There is also a playground to keep them entertained.

A large lovely pool area with three pools one being the children’s pool.

All rooms have a balcony or terrace and satellite TV. There's a minibar for drinks, and room service is available between mid-morning and late evening.

Christmas and New Year break
Jan 2021 |

Food was tepid and badly cooked. Christmas day was a tapas( not approprate for christmas day). Had to go out for entertainment as it was so poor.More could have been done to make this a happy christmas and new year break. The only positives was the pool was excellent. Clean and warm plus sunbeds were sanitised after every use . The bed was so comfortable and huge.

Even though we have difficult times, everything is run extremely well within rules. Friendly staff, lovely clean rooms and hotel, delicious food and drinks, fantastic shows and entertainment, activities all day well run. Well done everyone would definitely recommend.

Lovely staff but overpriced
Jan 2021 |

We visited this hotel at the end of November 2020; four of us over two separate rooms. We have visited Tenerife before but usually stay in Las America’s so opted for a change of scenery and stayed in Adeje this time around; we booked the all inclusive package.

To get the big negative out of the way; the food was AWFUL! Snacks by the snack bar, burgers etc aren’t included in the all inclusive package (self serve toasties by the pool bar are and these were actually very tasty). However, lunch and dinner were really really bad - we ate out every single day, apart from breakfast which was again poor but at least edible and everything could usually find something to eat.

The lunch and dinner on offer was next level of disappointing; I obviously appreciate we’re in the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic and it may be set up differently under normal circumstances - but this should really be highlighted when booking if this is the case because we paid way more than the trip was worth in terms of the all inclusive. When booking the website states you get one visit to the restaurant as opposed to the buffet; this was never mentioned when we were there in fact I never even seen a restaurant - again this may be due to COVID.

The hotel itself was nice enough, the lobby clean and bright and spacious and the check in staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are a bit outdated and not totally spotless - dust on shelves, hair in the bath tub etc, nothing outrageous but I’ve stayed in cleaner places. They’re average and had we paid a bit less we would’ve probably been happier with this but I don’t agree the hotel is to the standard it’s advertised to be.

A major plus is the location; everything is near and we booked some great trips at the little excursion hut just outside the hotel. Close to the beach, the steak house restaurant out of the hotel and to the left was lovely as well as the little ice cream shop nearby. An AMAZINGLY priced convenience store underneath the hotel which allowed us to stock up on food, drinks and souvenirs to bring back home. We spent most of our nights at the Skybar which is within walking distance; great atmosphere and great prices - always offers on drinks etc.

We had a great holiday and it was lovely to get away after spending much of the year in lockdown, they take wearing masks etc very seriously and we felt very safe during our trip. Wouldn’t return to this hotel but would definitely like to spend more time in this area. It’s definitely not the worst hotel and wouldn’t ruin a trip or anything, it would serve well as a base to go out and explore but I definitely wouldn’t recommend going all inclusive as it’s much better value for money to eat at the local bars and restaurants.
