Sitting on the promenade in the resort of Playa Blanca, Iberostar Selection Lanzarote Park is a beachfront hotel on Lanzarote's southernmost tip. It's a short walk from the hotel to the resort centre, where you can shop for souvenirs, enjoy a drink at one of the bars and try local dishes at a traditional restaurant. Lanzarote is one of the Canary Islands and is known for its beaches and seaside resorts, rugged coastline and volcanic landscape. The hotel is modern in design, with a whitewashed exterior, flat roofs and staggered balconies. There are eight outdoor swimming pools at the hotel, including one exclusive for Star Prestige guests and an indoor pool. It's also home to four climatised outdoor kids' pools including two in the kids water park with 5 slides. You'll have views of the Atlantic Ocean from the hotel's poolside sun decks. There are lots of food and drink options at the hotel, with four bars and two restaurants to choose from. During the day you can grab a snack, including ice cream, fruit and sandwiches, from the on-site food truck or snack bar. At Iberostar Selection Lanzarote Park, you can spend the day at the spa relaxing in the Turkish bath and sauna at an extra charge. If you fancy treating yourself, you can take your pick from a range of beauty and wellness treatments at an extra charge including facials, massages and manicures. Fitness sessions are available, and if you like to stay active on holiday you can play football, try beach volleyball and practise your basketball skills. The hotel organises regular entertainment, including live music and theatre-style performances, to keep the whole family amused. Children can burn off some energy dancing at the kids disco.
Iberostar Selection Lanzarote Park is 150m from Playa Flamingo, a curved stretch of sand that's protected by two breakwaters. The sea is shallow here, making it a popular place for families to swim and paddle. There are places to eat and drink all along the shore, and you can get holiday essentials at the local supermarket, which is 20m away. The hotel is 500m from the centre of Playa Blanca, which is one of Lanzarote's best-known resorts. You can dine on freshly caught seafood at a waterfront restaurant, as well as exploring the Blue Flag beach and watching the boats come and go from the yacht-lined marina. There's a lively water park in the resort, with slides, a wave pool and lazy river. If you fancy exploring, it's 19km to the former fishing village of El Golfo, where you'll discover a green lagoon made from a half-submerged volcano. Or you can drive to the Timanfaya National Park with its dormant volcanoes and mountainous landscape.
At Iberostar Selection Lanzarote Park, there's a buffet restaurant offering international cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Star Prestige guests can also dine at the a' la carte restaurant, enjoying breakfast and dinner at an outside table. The hotel's bars serve drinks and snacks throughout the day. The sports bar is open until late in the evening.
Children can join in activities including face painting at Iberostar Selection Lanzarote Park's kids' club. There's also a playground and playroom where they can have fun.
The air-conditioned rooms at Iberostar Selection Lanzarote Park all have a minibar and Wi-Fi. Cots are available.
