H10 Rubicon Palace is a luxury seafront hotel near Playa Blanca, on Lanzarote's south coast. It's within walking distance of the resort centre, with its beaches, waterfront promenade and yacht-lined marina. The hotel has five outdoor swimming pools, plus two smaller pools for children. You can enjoy the water slides and sit in the shade of the poolside bar, which serves local and international drinks from morning until late. You'll have a variety of dining options, with six restaurants at the hotel. Renovated in 2017, the hotel buildings have whitewashed exteriors with contrasting black balconies and windows, broken up by the occasional dark grey slate wall. They're set in gardens and there's a rooftop terrace overlooking the pool area, which is dotted with palm trees. Bedrooms have a bold feature wall, and feature contemporary artwork on display. You can pick up holiday essentials at the hotel shop or wander into Playa Blanca, where you'll find a supermarket and an assortment of souvenir shops. At H10 Rubicon Palace, you can spend a morning at the spa, which offers a selection of massage treatments, along with a Turkish bath, sauna and whirlpool. If you're feeling energetic, you can play football, beach volleyball and tennis. You could swim in the heated indoor pool and keep fit at the gym. The hotel also runs a variety of fitness classes, including aerobics and aqua aerobics. You can play darts, pool and table tennis, plus mini golf. After dark, you can watch the family-friendly entertainment, which often includes live music.
H10 Rubicon Palace is 2km from Playa Blanca, where you can shop for souvenirs at the boutiques, independent stores and weekly craft market. It's 1.5km from Playa Flamingo, where you'll be able to swim in the Atlantic Ocean and wander across the sandy shoreline. The hotel is 11km from one of Lanzarote's most popular beaches, Playa de Papagayo, which is known for its white sand and emerald-coloured water. It's popular with families, as it's sheltered from the wind, which means the sea is relatively still. If you fancy exploring Lanzarote's rugged landscape, you can visit the Timanfaya National Park, where you'll find dormant volcanoes, hot geysers and walking trails. You'll even be able to dine at a restaurant that cooks its food using the heat from a volcano, and if you grab a window seat, you'll have far-reaching views across the black volcanic terrain of the Fire Mountains.
There are two buffet restaurants and four a la carte restaurants at H10 Rubicon Palace. They offer a variety of cuisine, such as Italian dishes, Asian specialities and steak. You'll also find a food truck at the hotel, serving sandwiches and fruit. There's also a cafe and six bars.
Children can attend the hotel-run kids' club, which organises regular activities. They can also dance at the disco and spend time in the playground and playroom.
Rooms at H10 Rubicon Palace come with air conditioning and a fan. They have Wi-Fi and a HD TV with satellite channels.

It was 15 years since we last stayed in Playa Blanca and we were looking forward to going back . We chose the H10 Rubicon Palace as we used to stay at the H10 Lanzarote Princess and H10 always provided a good standard.
On arrival our temperature was checked and check in was organised. We got an up grade to a privilege room which was a nice touch.
Our room looked onto the sea and had lovely views of Fuerteventura .
The hotel was only 13% occupied and all the staff were working hard to provide a service recognised of a 5 star hotel
Not all the restaurants were open which is understandable due to the current pandemic and we accepted this .
Yes the food may not have been at a 5 star standard but we accepted this as we were just pleased to get a holiday , we should have been in Australia
The resort was very quiet like the hotel but we still enjoyed being away enjoying the sunshine.
Last but not least we found the behaviour of some of the guests towards members of staff disgraceful , the staff were trying their best in very difficult circumstances to please the small number of Clients. We are in a pandemic which is difficult for everyone and obviously this just doesn’t register with some .
We will return to this hotel as we enjoyed our time their.
The beginning of our holiday was not great, but Giorgia was very kind and helpfull. She really made our stay very comfortable. For us the hotel was not 5 stars, but Giorgia gave the service of a 5+ star hotel. Next to her, also the other people working in the hotel were very nice.
We stayed at this hotel well in February 2020 travelling with our two children. The transfer time to this resort is literally 15 minutes which is perfect if travelling with kids
First impressions.... well what can I say! The hotel entrance and lobby and reception is incredible exactly what you would expect from a 5-star we were greeted with a glass of champagne and checking was reasonably quick.
Our room was modern and contemporary with a spacious king bed and pull out sofa bed for the children and a lovely balcony overlooking the gardens. The room was cleaned and toiletries replenished daily.
The resort itself is huge, particularly beautiful and well landscaped. The lagoon pool with the yacht feature is stunning when it's lit up an evening and there are multiple pools at this resort so getting a sunbed was not difficult. The pool at the daisy club is great for kids and includes the ice cream and drinks cart to save you having to return to the main area for refreshments. Although we don't have little ones, there are well equiped creches and miniclubs to keep little ones entertained if you need a break!
There is so much to do for kids and adults here....mini-golf, yoga, football, pool games all and the animation team or non-stop with encouragement to get people of all ages involved. The most impressive I would say were the shows on an evening, we are regulars at Disney resorts so are expectations are a little high but it was very well delivered and professional.
There are a few main buffet restaurants in the resort but the food variety and standard was high, they also did "themed" nights which I thought was a great. In addition to the buffet restaurants there was also 3 a la carte restaurants you could choose to eat in, a steakhouse a Japanese restaurant and an Italian restaurant.
You need to book these on your first day to make sure that you can get a reservation as they are popular and well worth going to.
We stayed on a half board option however after speaking to to the lovely Carolina we decided to upgrade for the last few days of our stay to all inclusive. I would recommend doing this in resort and speaking directly to Carolina, her customer service was first class and she was extremely helpful and made our stay that little bit more special!
All in all this resort is absolutely first class, the surroundings, the food and the service level. We have already booked for February 21 and also February 2022!
