You can’t be with other 300 people in the restaurant
Oct 2020 |

I will try to summarize.

Staff: 10/10 except for the receptionist when you explain that in the middle of a pandemic 300 people in a restaurant is a risk.

Installation: 7/10 everything clean and what I expected.

Food: 4/10. this is a big problem in my opinion. I understood that people prefer to eat without salt, but food without flavor has no sense. In whatever case everyday they had something different.

Drinks: 5/10. Every drink was prepared in advance and not diversity.

Covid measures: 0/10 in the restaurant. They have a scheduled when book your room but later on this is a fake. You can go at whatever time. Problem, 300 at the same time in the restaurant. Everyone without face mask and no ventilation. At the end we had no breakfast

Covid measures: 7/10 hotel. Security people checking face mask. Alcohol gel everywhere. But no separation in the swimming pool and the hotel was full or at least 500 guests.

I understand that a hotel is a company that make money but you can force the timing in the restaurant, add a CO2 counter to check the ventilation and open every window and door. It’s better to get less money and don’t close the hotel in 2 months.

In a non covid pandemic I would give a 3.5 over 5.

This hotel ruined my third wedding anniversary holidays
Aug 2020 |

I’m definitely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. With my wife we were to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary during our stay here but it was spoiled by the atmosphere in the hotel and unhelpful stuff.

Let’s start one by one:

  • Issue wit changing rooms - we got a room close to very noisy people and asked for change (not an upgrade). Lady at the reception was trying to get extra 200€ from us as she claimed they were fully booked (not true looking at the number of guests in the hotel), after insisting couple of times, miraculously they’ve found another room in more quite section (same standard).
  • Parking issues - information provided here is not correct. They don’t have any parking facility! Public parking is always occupied and there is no chance of parking here! If you’re lucky you’ll get a place a kilometer down the road and you’ll have to climb all the way up back to the hotel. I got a puncture while looking for a place for an hour! And on another occasion my car was towed by the police what cost me 200€ - that’s another story how they treat tourists... no signs at all and everyone is parking there, apparently an issue if they spot that you’re not local! When I complained to hotel PR manager looking for some support the lady said that they can’t help me with parking despite having free spots in hotel backyard. Really disappointing.
  • Food rather average - I’ve seen a lot of comments complimenting food here, well apparently a lot has changed with COVID as I find it rather average, and on the lower part of scale tbh. I’ve really seen better in hotels of the same category.
  • COVID atmosphere - if you’re looking for a place to relax and forget about the ongoing situation, well that’s definitely not a place for you. While I appreciate the safety measures taken to make sure we are all safe it is done in really tasteless way and getting in a way of your rest not allowing you to relax in full with this tension in the air.
  • Summarizing, not a hotel that I would recommend to anyone. Staff is not supportive, food rather poor, atmosphere tense due to COVID. Hotel is new and that’s the only positive here, but you won’t be able to enjoy it.

    Lovely hotel
    Aug 2020 |

We stayed as this hotel for 11 days and even though we were a bit worried due to covid19 i need not have worried, we couldn't have asked for better. The staff were brilliant and the food was very good, the family suites were very clean and a good size and the kids loved the slides and entertainment, everything was kept exceptionally clean even down to steaming the reception furniture every day there was something for everyone will return in the future
