Stayed here from Tuesday to Saturday. Rooms as expected. Basic but clean requested chairs for inside and out as 4 of us and only given 3 and this was done straight away. Very friendly staff, cleaning staff are great. Food is ok although We only ate here a few times it had been a fairly relaxing holiday until Friday afternoon when it turned into what can only be described as a 18-30 Spanish holiday. Guests arriving with speaker the size of a suitcase and throwing drink around. it literally turned into nightmare in the space of a hour. I’m all for partying especially on holiday. But sexual activity in the pool when kids are around and throwing grown men into kids pool etc is a disgrace. This resulted in police having to attend and the fights that broke out as a result were not what you expect for a family holiday.
Asked receptionist a couple of days ago to keep room on and told they didn’t know if available to do that. Asked again today and hotel is full. Fair enough... reception has offered luggage storage and use of pool and shower later so if you need this book in advance.
Just back from our second visit. Despite experiencing the worst Calima for 40 years we still had a great time. Yes it could have been cleaner but the staff had an uphill battle fighting the dust, even when the weather improved. We upgraded to AI well worth the money for breakfast, lunch & drinks alone. We ended up eating in the restaurant 3 times as the food had definitely improved from our first visit. Its a pretty resort with plenty of space. Yes it’s starting to look a bit tired but ideal for a cheap winter break
As they say you get what you pay for good cheap clean and in a good location for bars and food could do with a referb but most of the hotels around could also do with one, nice being on two levels as not many stairs to climb
