Cordial Mogan Valle

Cordial Mogan Valle is a family-friendly apartment hotel in the fishing village of Puerto de Mogan on the south west coast of Gran Canaria. The island is known for its beaches and natural scenery as well as the amusements and activities it offers tourists. The hotel is built on a quiet hillside in a modern style that reflects traditional Spanish architecture. It overlooks the mountainous landscape of the coastline down towards the Mediterranean Sea. The beach of Playa de Mogan is a short walk from the hotel. In the area, you'll find local shops and restaurants where you can try some traditional Spanish cuisine. The hotel has three outdoor swimming pools. There's also a smaller, shallower pool and a splash park for children. You can have a game of table tennis or pool, and there's a gym with a variety of weight and cardio machines to use. Tennis courts are available to rent at the neighbouring hotel, Cordial Mogan Playa. The buffet restaurant at the hotel offers a range of local and international cuisine. There's also an a la carte restaurant which is open during the winter season. The pool bar serves a variety of alcoholic and soft drinks that can be served to you at your lounger by the pool. For some downtime, you can book a massage or beauty treatment at the hotel's spa. It also has a whirlpool and a sauna for you to enjoy. The hotel puts on regular entertainment during the daytime and evenings.

Cordial Mogan Valle is 700m from Playa de Mogan beach, where you can take a stroll, sunbathe or swim in the sea. Keen walkers can hike up the mountains and experience views over the varied landscape down to the ocean. You can pick up a cocktail or glass of beer from one of the many bars around Puerto de Mogan marina and watch the boats as they come and go. Las Palmas, the capital of Gran Canaria, is a 55km drive away. You can take a day trip to explore the beaches and waterfront of the city. There are lots of restaurants serving traditional tapas dishes and homemade sangria. Las Palmas has plenty of bustling shopping areas where you can browse locally made products, gifts and souvenirs. The busy town has many bars you can visit. If you fancy a spot of island hopping, you can take a ferry from Las Palmas to neighbouring Tenerife and Lanzarote.

The buffet restaurant at Cordial Mogan Valle is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Soft and alcoholic drinks are available to enjoy with meals. You can also have lunch at the pool bar, and the snack bar serves simple meals such as pizza and salads.

Kids can meet new friends and take part in games and activities in the children's playroom. There's also an outdoor playground to keep them amused.

Apartments are modern with neutral decor. They all have kitchenettes and dining areas and include fans and TVs with international channels.

I have literally just returned from an amazing trip. Ive not unpacked yet, but i wanted to share my amazing experience..

I travelled with my children for 5 nights and had the luck of booking this beautiful hotel.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment, room 835.

Kingsize bed in one room, sofa bed that pulls out into 2 appropriately sized single beds and 2 singles in the other room.

2 bathrooms both with walk in showers, one of which is en suite. Modern bathrooms! Clean! And very well designed. Hair dryer, shower/shampoo and soap included.

The kitchen is very well equipped, I love cooking and the pots was perfectly sized for my family of 6. The supermarket is accross the road literally. They have their own brand as well as the things we are familiar with. (U.k) So dont worry too much about self catering.

I travelled during covid times.. so a lot of things was closed but it didnt ruin the holiday at all.. the pools was fun and the splash park is a great touch. children aged 6 + wear a mask in spain

Please do not let the pandemic put you off.

The beach is literally a stroll away 5mins walk. Loads of restaurants and stores.

The main hotel has a buffet restaurant with a chef preparing your meat in front of you.. they also serve breakfast.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly helpful and attentive. If you need anything literally ask..

I have nothing bad to say at all..

I have already made plans to return and would definitely recommend to any and everyone..

This is our 5th visit and we will be back. The hotel rooms are clean, basic and fully equipped with kitchen and dining table, balcony is massive. The pool is slightly heated and perfect for kids who want to spend hours at a time swimming. Staff are friendly and super helpful. It’s very chilled and it is fine to bring your own drinks to the pool area (just no glass). The entertainment (currently not happening due to COVID19) is minimal, normally just a kids disco and 1 small show which is perfect for us, however if you want a full-on show head next door to the playa who normally have a full on professional show (when COVID19 restrictions aren’t in place). The outside chill out lounge is ideal for evening card games while kids play and there is a kids club too. Puerto de Mogán is a beautiful place, a hidden gem in the canaries. Amazing restaurants, beautifully beach and a very relaxed and chilled holiday.

We stayed post lockdown. Hotel is lovely, rooms are great and balcony is incredible such a lovely addition to have so much outside space. Due to restrictions most of the hotel amenities were closed so only really the pool open. A short walk down to the beach and port but restaurants also directly opposite the hotel (although a lot were still closed). We will be returning here again so we can enjoy Mogan and the hotel in its full glory 😀.
