Shipka Hotel

Shipka Hotel is one of the symbolic hotels in Golden Sands Resort which opened its doors for the first time over 40 years ago. It is located in the heart of the resort, just a few meters away from the beach and right alongside a pedestrian zone with many restaurants, entertainment spots and shops. Located in Golden Sands, 350 m from the beach, 1.5 km from an amusement park, 3 km from a marina and 25.5 km from the Varna Airport.

Facilities and services include wireless Internet access, restaurant, bar, meeting/conference room, outdoor swimming pool with children's area, indoor swimming pool, spa treatments (extra charge), gym, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room, children's playground, 24 hour reception, parking, elevators and safe at the reception (extra charge).

Rooms feature wireless Internet access, air conditioning, TV, telephone, fridge, balcony/terrace, hairdryer and bathroom.

Suites also feature a living area.

Please note that some of the above facilities may be closed due to weather / seasonal conditions.

Resort consists of two buildings. It's not possible to book a specific building.

In case of choosing the option of all inclusive:

The All Inclusive-concept includes all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks) and mealtime drinks such as soft drinks, beer, wine, water and alcoholic drinks, all of local brands.

Drinks are served from morning until late evening (approx until 22.00 hrs).

Opening times vary between different hotels.

In certain hotels the activities program is also included.

In this review I'd like to express the pleasant experience I had in this hotel.

To begin with, this is one of the few hotels in Golden Sands where a person could get such good value for the money. Parking is free of charge and secured for guests of the hotel. The staff is very nice and friendly, and always ready to help with the best they can. There is a variety of food in the restaurant and I was very happy to notice that they tend to keep the menu diverse - even a week later the meals differed from the previous week. What is more, the quality was excellent.

The rooms were kept clean and tidy during the whole stay. Excellent service. In addition to that, higher floor rooms offer a breath-taking view of the sea and Golden Sands. Speaking of which, the beach is no more than 2 minutes away on foot. However if you are not fan of sand going anywhere around your body, there is a swimming pool at the hotel which is perfectly suitable for children too. Lifeguard can keep track on the kids, while you're taking the advantage of that all inclusive package to have some free shots at the pool bar. And in case you'd like some alone time with your soulmate, there is a pool table by reception where you could send the kids to have fun... again, free of charge!

To conclude, this is one of the best choices you could make.

All of them deserve an immense respect to what they are doing, especially taking into consideration the limitation and additional requirements resulting from COVID impact on all services provided by each hotel. Even under these circumstances, they all are providing high-level standard of services your hotel is offering to its guests.

I would be very grateful to you to give my special THANK YOU to:

ü Very pleasant and willing hotel room cleaning lady taking care of my room during my whole stay. I do appreciate a lot the high standard of the service she has been providing each single day. Not in every hotel the bedding are changed on daily basis.

As well very pleasant have been towels always perfectly clean with a slight hint of nice smell and bathroom accessories supplemented on daily basis.

ü Teo from hotel Reception desk for prompt remediation of the hot water absence in bathroom shower.

ü All people in Reception desk always ready to help with smile on their face.

ü Whole team providing catering services during the day. Even when being overloaded while facing the queue of often impatient and indecisive guests, they have not lost temper and positive smiling approach to each individual guest, which is not a standard in every hotel. Moreover considering mandatory wearing of facemasks that make the communication even more complicated adding up the variety of languages the hotel guest speak.

Last but not least, I would like to highlight the fact that the Hotel success depends mostly on the human capital i.e. hotel staff providing high quality services and satisfying the guests needs and wishes, what is exactly what the SHIPKA Hotel people do. All of them gives you the unforgettable feeling you are the most important person, you can rely on them and forget at least for couple of days on work, stressing moments, rush and just relax and collect new energy (recharge your battery).

Thank all of you for making my vacation stay so wonderful. I am vey happy to be able to prolong my vacation stay for additional four days. I can only recommend your hotel, as I am sure your PEOPLE are able to satisfy each type of guest, even the most demanding.

The holiday was short, but great. The room had a fantastic view to the sea and the resort from the balcony.

I was honestly very impressed.

The variety of the food was not so tremendous but sufficient(understanding because of the corona situation) but good quality of the food and very delicious.

The staff was super kind and professional all around the hotel, especially the receptionists and bellboys !
