Lovely hotel, rooms large, beds comfortable and staff excellent.
Had a lovely 2 night stay here.
Breakfast very expensive at 29 euros but large variety to choose from.
Location was ok but mostly got taxis or walked.
Our rooms were ready at 12noon which suited ys immensely.
We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone interested. It's not too far from major attractions and very close to shopping. And the staff is quite attentive and helpful. Wonderful stay and we will be back!!
You expect that booking into a 5 star hotel your booking into an excellent hotel. I was made to feel like a thief from the very moment I told the receptionist that I couldn't afford to have 50€ per night taken off my card (8 nights = 400€) I was told that it would be paid back to my card in 7-10 working days however I did not have the existing funds. I had to plead with Kean, the receptionist who may I add needs a lesson in customer service, to accept my manager's bank card details as I didn't have that sort of money sitting in my account.
I was told that they needed the deposit upfront incase I was to steal anything from the room like some guests had done so beforehand. Given the fact that my business had already paid for the cost of the stay I was shocked by this comment.
Moving on, the positives of the room was that it was big and the bed was comfortable, here is a run down of the negatives:
- 30€ breakfast, advised by colleagues that it would never have cost more than 10€
- no complimentary water, other than the poor choice of tea and coffee everything else on show costs money including the rather ridiculously priced bathrobe for 95€
- to activate the safe you need to enter your card but guess what happens when you take the card out of the main switch, all the lights go off and you can't see the safe without the use of a torch
- no shower, given how much it costs a night a standing up shower in a bath tub is beyond pathetic
- lack of plug sockets near the bed
All in all a very disappointing stay, definitely won't be coming back here in a rush
