I stayed at south beach hotel for the first time n it was a great experience..rhea at front desk was very helpfull and pleasant and nakita in restaurant was a great waitress..my birthday stay was very comfortable and enjoyable see u guys soon 😊❤
My wife and I visited South Beach Hotel recently as a part of an anniversary celebration. Firstly, I can say that the interactions which we had with most of their staff were by and large congenial. Decent enough. Nevertheless, what was the deal breaker for us and actually soured the entire experience involved their "rooms serviced every three days" policy. Ok, so granted that we only stayed two nights, and as one employee we met in the hall stated, there was a "shortage of staff". However, I'd figure that under such circumstanes, a sufficient solution would be offered... i.e. a toilet brush? (as much as I'll disclose). Well, when we approached front desk and raised the question "Are we required to remove the trash on our own?"(seems preposterous?), we were told "leave it outside and I'll have someone to pick it up". Sadly, it appeared that message was lost in translation as the "someone" never showed up. This was a based on a "staycation" experience. The lot of the deplorables? I won't go there. My only hope is that the right pair of eyes peruse this greivance, and put the necessary measures in place so that another doesn't have to endure the same lot which we have did.
I booked this hotel and had to cancel. They took 50% deposit to be refunded if cancelled within a Certain time frame. They did not reply when I contacted them at first and then I had to raise a complaint through the booking app I used . They advised that my refund would take between 5-28 days .... still no word of my money back 29 days later. Poor customer relations, poor communications and most importantly ... honesty????
