Sol Milanos Pinguinos is a family-friendly hotel on the southern coast of the Balearic island of Menorca. The hotel has views across the Mediterranean, and the long, sandy beach of Son Bou is a short stroll away. The hotel has an outdoor pool area with two main pools, plus a shallower pool for children. The pools are joined together by a bridge, and there are plenty of places to relax in the shade on the surrounding sun terrace. The hotel has a buffet restaurant that offers Italian cuisine, as well as a bar that serves soft drinks and alcohol. During high season, you can order snacks from the bar if you get hungry between meals. The hotel has a range of entertainment options for adults and children. In high season (May-Sep), you can play tennis, football and darts or take part in an aerobics or aquaerobics class. Sol Milanos Pinguinos arranges water sports including jet-skiing and pedalo riding (Jun-Aug). There's also a games room, which has a pinball machine and video games, as well as a playground at the hotel. Younger guests can also have fun at the kids' clubs, which run activities throughout the day and evening.
Sol Milanos Pinguinos is 100m from Son Bou Beach, which at 2.5 kilometres long is Menorca's longest white-sand beach. You can find a quiet spot here to while the day away, or you can head into the centre of Son Bou, the resort that lies 100m north of the hotel. The first place you'll come across is the local shopping centre, which sits directly behind Sol Milanos Pinguinos and has a range of shops, bars and restaurants as well as a pharmacy and supermarket for essential supplies. At the eastern end of Son Bou Beach is its basilica, the ruins of a 5th-century Christian church.
The hotel's main buffet restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It serves Italian cuisine, including pizza, lasagne and pasta. In high season, a second buffet restaurant is also open for breakfast and dinner, while the snack bar is open till late evening for light meals.
The hotel puts on nightly live entertainment, including Disney-style shows for kids. The three kids' clubs cater for children aged 8 months to 12 years.
Hotel rooms come with Wi-Fi, a satellite TV and a ceiling fan for keeping cool. Air conditioning is also available during the warmer months.

First experience in Menorca
It was a trip made by a group of couples, expectations were high, as the hotel recommended it to us by a friend, and it certainly did not disappoint.
From the first moment we were afraid to travel because of the current sanitary circumstances, the hotel applies strict controls and you find disinfection points all over the hotel, which gave us more tranquility.
The hotel is very well located near the airport, it has some spectacular and luminous rooms where you can see an incredible sunset at the end of the day.
The breakfast buffet is very complete and varied, but without a doubt the best thing that this hotel has is the treatment of the personnel from reception to the restaurant team, they advised us unique places to visit in Menorca.
We will return to Menorca and it will surely be at Sol Milanos Pinguinos
This cannot be classified as vacation.
Keep wearing face masks everywhere you go to any public place, under the burning sun, is absolute madness. Even young children were forced to wear them (almost everywhere!).
Having to be compliant with so many strict rules in the restaurant, around the pool and in the mini club will not make you feel you’re in a holiday place.
I may come back to this nice hotel only if they remove the so many restrictions they had to put in place because of their governors.
3 star rating and deffinatley no more than that , hotel very basic and dated but wonderful beach and pool area. Visited middle of October but very quiet and no entertainment ,absolutely nothing , I go on holiday in October every year but this is the quietest place ive been to .Food: all inclusive : breakfast nice but rest of food very poor worst all inclusive food I have had so spent money in restaurants whilst there , based on this won't stay here again but son bou nice and better hotels in area and won't go again in October , far too quiet .
