We have sadly just returned from a fabulous two week holiday at Princesa Playa through Jet2holidays
Although we now have to quarantine it was absolutely worth every second. We felt safer in Menorca than the UK, the hotel was exceptionally clean and followed the strict Spanish rules as did all nearby shops and restaurants.
The pool was huge, at times I was the only one in there and the water so warm. At the busiest times less than half the sunbeds were taken even though many had already been removed to enable social distancing.
We were half board and the buffet operated efficiently by pointing at what you wanted and the staff putting it on plates for you.
A special mention to Susana and Lito in the restaurant who worked so hard in these difficult times and made us feel so welcome.
Also the kitchen staff (especially the lady serving salad and puddings - Irani????) who were so lovely and helping me to learn Spanish. Todo el mundo es muy sympatico alli xxx
Also the lovely man on reception who organised our horse riding (highlight of the hols) and car hire.
The restaurants and shops of Son Xoriguer Playa are tight through the back gates of the hotel and totally buzzing and Cala N Bosch marina is just a 15 min walk. The bus to Ciutadella stops outside reception hourly.
I will definitely be back as soon as possible.
Thank you so much x
we have been here before so we new what to expect lovely hotel pool restaurant all great. location perfect. just one small thing and I hope management does something about it. plenty of sun beds ,however not enough parasols especially round the childs pool, plenty of space to put them but less than half sun beds have them. many people we spoke with said the same. this is my only gripe.
we will be back definitely hotel is very clean and lay out is perfect.
My wife and I have been back to Princesa twice this year. Two weeks in June/July and two weeks in September/October to celebrate my wife's birthday and our retirements. Both visits were as great as ever although our September trip was initially cancelled thanks to the Thomas Cook collapse. I had to re-book the trip direct with the hotel and easyjet. The hotel management were absolutely brilliant and made the booking really easy. I cannot thank the management and staff enough for their assistance in making our trip as perfect as ever. Many thanks Cari. See you all next year.
